Chapter 48

After the whole fire ordeal, Mario, Luigi, Lightning, Tidal and Yoshi continue through the forest. Luigi still was a little upset about not being able to help with the fire situation but he chose to hide it from his brother and friends.

Suddenly, they spotted a Raichu wearing a red bandanna around his neck walking towards them.

"Riley???" Lightning questioned, running towards the Raichu.

"Lightning???" Riley replied.

"Who is this, Lightning? Do you know him?" Luigi asked.

"Yes, I do. He's a friend of my village." Lightning answered.

"Lightning, I need your help. My sister has been captured by Yveltal. He did have me but I managed to escape. However, I wasn't able to save my sister without getting captured again. You have to help me get her back!" Riley replied.

"Don't worry Riley. We'll get her back. We're after Yveltal so I can save my villagers and these friends of mine can have their Sylveon friend back as well." She replied, pointing to Mario and Luigi.

"Who are these Pokémon??? I don't think I've seen them around before." Riley asked.

"I'm Mario and this is my little brother Luigi. This green dino here is Yoshi and this is Tidal." Mario introduced.

Klefki suddenly flew out of Luigi's scruff. "And I'm Klefki." She told him.

"Well it's nice to meet you all. I'm Riley." He replied.

"Okay, now that we know each other... Can we move on?" Tidal asked impatiently.

"Oh yes we can Tidal. Come on Riley, you can come with us. You can help us find the Tree Of Life. We might be able to get Xerneas's help so we can save the forest from his reign." Lightning told him.

"I'll be glad to Lightning. I'd do anything to get my sister back."

Meanwhile, Iggy, Morton, Larry and Lemmy were searching the forest for lost Pokeballs. They managed to find a few but they all felt like it wasn't enough.

Suddenly, they caught sight of a Pokémon Trainer walking through the forest.

"A Pokémon Trainer? They are known to travel the land catching Pokémon and using them in battles." Morton replied.

"Which means they are loaded with Pokeballs and all sorts of other items. Let's get em!!" Larry said.

They all nodded in agreement and waited for the perfect moment to strike the unexpected male Pokémon Trainer.

Once they found the perfect opportunity to attack him, they leaped into action. They revealed themselves to the trainer and attacked him without even giving him a chance to react.

Iggy The Leafeon used Razor Leaf. Morton the Umbreon used Dark Pulse. Larry the Glaceon used Ice Beam. Lemmy the Jolteon used Thunderbolt. From all the attacks that were heading straight for him, the trainer panicked, dropped his items and fled.

The four Eeveelutions laughed mischievously.  Their plan worked quite marvelously.

They opened the bag the trainer dropped and saw many potions, revives, berries, pokeballs, Great balls, Ultra Balls, Premier Balls, and many different kinds of Pokeballs and items a trainer would normally be seen carrying with them on a journey.

They smirked evilly at their haul. "We will definitely be able to catch those brothers without any trouble at all." Lemmy said.

"Yeah, they don't even stand a chance. Suddenly, 6 Of the Pokeballs they picked up then opened up and out came a Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, Pikachu, Lapras and Snorlax. The six Pokémon that were once owned by the trainer looked around in confusion.

"W-what?? Where are we???" The Blastoise asked.

"Where's our trainer?" The Pikachu questioned.

Morton cleared his throat and spoke up. "Your Trainer is gone. You work for us now."

"What do you mean? You're not our master!" The Charizard bellowed.

"Well we are now!" Morton told the  six Pokémon.

"Look we need your help to take care of these two Eevees. Will you help?" Lemmy asked.

The six Pokémon conversed to each other then turned back to the Eeveelutions. "Fine. What do you want?" The Charizard who seemed to be the leader of the group asked the four Eeveelutions.
