Chapter 29

Lightning stared at the Mr. Mime with fear in her eyes. She didn't like the Pokémon at all, but she tried not to show it. "W-who are you?" She asked, not able to keep the stuttering out of her voice.

The Mr. Mime bowed respectfully. "Master of Dimensions... Pleaser of crowds... I am Dimentio" he introduced.

"Oh Mamma Mia... Not this guy again" Mario mumbled.

"D-Dimentio? What are you doing here?" Luigi asked, slowly backing up.

Dimentio laughed. "I am the Master of Dimentions, obviously. Now what are you doing here, Luigi!"

"He has the right to be in this world. He's here to save it from certain doom." Lightning replied.

"Certain doom you say? Like me perhaps?" Dimentio grinned evilly.

Lightning gave him a glare. "Not on our watch... Dimentio."

Lightning be careful... He has very strong magic... You never know what he could do" Luigi warned.

Dimentio turned to Luigi. "I sense formidable power in you, Luigi. Soon enough that power will belong to me."
Dimentio used Psybeam, but Lightning countered it with Thunderbolt.

"Luigi does not belong to anyone!" Lightning growled.

"Get out of my way, Electric mouse!" Dimentio ordered as he used Psychic and threw her against a tree. "Now shall we continue?!"

Lightning quickly got back up as Dimentio prepared another Psybeam. Lightning ran towards it and took in the attack as she collapsed to the ground.

"Lightning!!!" Luigi cried.

"Absorbing my Attack to protect him? What an adorably hopeless gesture. Now the show must go on!" Dimentio used Psybeam, hitting Luigi this time and trapped him in an invisible box.

"Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha. I have you now! Luigi!" Dimentio cackled.

"No!" Lightning refused to let Luigi be taken by this guy. Lightning used Thunderbolt on him. "Your Power is strong. Let me try." Dimentio used Mimic and used Thunderbolt on Lightning back. She collapsed to the ground and winced.

"Lightning!" Luigi cried, banging on the barrier.

Ah ha ha ha ha ha how did you like the own taste of electric power?" He laughed.

Mario grabbed Lightning's paw to help her up. "Are you Alright?" He asked.

"I'm...Fine..." she mumbled, not giving Mario eye contact and simply glared at Dimentio. "We have to keep fighting, I don't want him to take Luigi."

"Me neither. He is my brother after all and I don't want anyone to take him away if I can help it." Mario replied.

Lightning uses Electro Ball on him. "You don't seem to give up easily do you?" Dimentio used Thunderbolt again but Lightning dodges and uses Iron Tail.

"No and I don't plan to." Lightning replied. "Come on Mario, we can do this."

"Right!" Mario nodded in agreement as he used Shadow Ball on Dimentio.

Dimentio uses Psychic and threw Lightning at the ground, but she landed on her paws. She uses Electro Ball and bats it at him with Iron Tail. Mario did the same.

Noooo!! I-I cry uncle! Mercy! UNCLE! I SAY!!" Dimentio cried.

Lightning glared at him. "I don't trust you. How do I know you won't attack me by surprise! I'm not gullible enough to fall for this trick. I've fought countless enemies and I know each one.

"I SURRENDER I SWEAR!!!" He cried.

"Don't trust him Lightning!" Luigi yelled.

Lightning used Thunderbolt. "Okay, okay fine you got me. You're far too clever for me." Dimentio said.

"Then let Luigi go or I'll fight to the death if I have to!" Lightning growled.

"Fine, but don't expect that the next time we cross paths I won't give up easily." Dimentio said as he released him. "Now if you excuse me, I'll be on my way. Ciao!" He then flees by teleporting.

Lightning and Mario run to Luigi's side. "Luigi are you alright?" They asked.

"I'm fine. Don't worry." Luigi replied with a smile. They both pull him into a hug.

"Thank Arceus. I didn't ever want that creep to try and take you and I never will." Lightning said.
