Super Mario Eevee Bros. (Pokémon and Mario Bros. Crossover)

Chapter 45

Lightning, Mario and Luigi continue fighting Audra. Yoshi decides to join the fight too.

Lightning used Iron Tail. Mario and Luigi used Shadow Ball. Yoshi used Stomp.

Audra was getting tired of their attacks and used Discharge.

Lightning and Yoshi dodged. Mario and Luigi were hit.

"Are you okay, guys?" Lightning asked.

"Yeah, we're fine. Just a little exhausted." Luigi answered.

Mario hated to admit it but he slowly nodded.

"Hang in there you two." Lightning told them.

"Awww!! You're friends are getting pretty slow now, are they?" Audra teased.

"You leave them alone, Audra!" Lightning growled at her.

"That little Greenvee is adorable. I would hate to have to do something to him." Audra smirked.

"His name is Luigi! And you're not going to hurt him!" Lightning argued.

"I think Greenvee sounds better."

Luigi glared at Audra but kept silent. Mario glared at her too. He charged up a Shadow Ball while she was paying attention to Lightning and released it at Audra. Audra didn't see it coming until she was hit with the surprise attack.

She turned to stare at Mario with a death stare. "You're going to pay for that!"

Lightning slapped Audra with an Iron Tail to the face hard. It looked like it would leave a scar. Mario and Luigi used Shadow Ball and batted them at Audra with Iron Tail. Yoshi used Thrash. After  a few more attacks Audra was finally down.

"We did it! We defeated her. Thanks for your help guys." Lightning told them.

"Hey, no problem Lightning." Mario said.

"Hehe your welcome..." Luigi laughed, timidly.

"Come on guys. Let's get out of here"

"Where are we going Lightning?" Luigi asked.

"We're looking for berries so you guys can get your energy back up then we're going to continue our search for the Tree of Life so we can stop Yveltal." Lightning answered.

"What is the Tree of Life anyways? Is it a special tree or something?" Mario asked.

"You could say that."

Unbeknownst to them, they were being heard by the Eeveelutions that were following them. "The Tree of Life? What is that?" Wendy asked.

"Have you been listening? It's a special tree that can stop Yveltal." Roy replied.

"Precisely... Which means we need to find it before they do. If they find it first, Bowser will be stopped again and we cannot let that happen." Ludwig told them.

"Right..."

The group continued walking until they found a Sitrus Berry bush. Lightning ran to the berry bush to pick the berries and gave them to Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Klefki.

"Now let's hurry and eat or we'll never get anywhere." Lightning said, taking a bite out of her berry. However, Mario didn't have to be told twice and popped the whole berry in his mouth.

Lightning noticed it. "I don't mean that fast Mario, you're going to choke."

"Mario, please be careful. I hate when you eat your food so fast." Luigi replied with concern.

Mario chewed the berry slowly before swallowing it. "Yeah, yeah well I didn't so there."

"Don't ever do that again. You almost scared me and Luigi too." Lightning said.

Luigi nodded in agreement. "Mario always acts like this on an adventure. When he gets his mind into something he just rushes into things and sometimes it gets him into trouble-"

"Oh stop worrying Luigi. Let's just go."

Lightning, Luigi, Yoshi and Klefki finished their berries and they continued on their way.
