"Oh quiet you!! Both of you will be ours soon. You can't fight forever." Roy replied.
"We'll fight for as long as we have to. We will never give up so easily." Lightning said.
Roy used Psychic on Lightning. "Then it'll be your funeral."
"Nygh...." Lightning mumbled, trying to escape his grasp.
"You really are a pest aren't you?! Why won't all of you just give up.
"We'll never gi-" Roy tightened his grip on Lightning.
"Let me go!!" She yelled.
Suddenly, a random Fire Blast hit Roy as he lost his grip on Lightning and she dropped to the ground with a thud.
Roy looked up to see Mario as a Flareon glaring at him.
"Are you Alright, Lightning?" Mario asked.
"I'm fine..." she mumbled as she slowly got back up to her paws.
Lightning turned around and glared at Roy. "You will pay for that!!" She growled.
She used Thunderbolt. Roy was hit critically.
Roy used Psyshock. Lightning and Mario avoided the attack.
Mario used Fire Blast and Lightning used Electro Ball. Both attacks hit Roy.
Roy growled. "You little nuisances. I can't wait until Yveltal defeats you and the Green one too."
Lightning looked behind Roy to see Luigi fighting as best he could alone. He looked like he needed help.
"Mario, we have to get to Luigi. He needs help." Lightning whispered to him.
"I know but we're kinda busy at the moment." Mario replied.
Lightning watched Luigi use Shadow Ball on Ludwig. Ludwig was trying to tackle Luigi to the ground but Luigi was faster than him and managed to escape.
"Hang in there Luigi! Don't give up!" Lightning called.
"Got it!" Luigi shouted back, still looking at his opponent. "Come on you can do this. You can do anything."
"Stop acting like you're a hero, coward! You're number zero!!" Ludwig teased.
"N-no I'm not." Luigi growled at him.
"Their can't be more than one, number one. That makes you number zero. Because you're nothing like your brother."
Luigi backed up and his ears went flat.
Lightning overheard the conversation. "Luigi, don't listen to him! You are a hero! You saved me and Mario. You're our hero."
Luigi smiled and wiped his eyes. He glared at Ludwig with determination.
"That's it, Luigi! That's the spirit!" Lightning told him.
"I am a hero..." he thought to himself.
Luigi ran towards Ludwig and fires a massive beam of green electricity at him as he shouted, "THUNDER!!!!"

There was then a massive explosion in that part of the forest.
When the smoke cleared. Mario, Luigi and Lightning saw everyone on the ground with scratches and bruises. Ludwig, Wendy and Roy slowly got to their paws. "We-we'll deal with you later..." They replied, before running off.
Luigi looked around. "I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean to.... is everyone okay???"
Lightning slowly got to her paws. "I think we're alright. But that was awesome Luigi. You've learned the move Thunder."
Luigi chuckled. "I did do it. Didn't I."
Lightning nodded. She put a paw on his shoulder. "You're number one Luigi"
"Luigi number 1!" He chanted.
Lightning giggled. "I love your enthusiasm."
"Thanks." He blushes a bit.
Suddenly, he felt a little light-headed and put a paw to his forehead.
"Luigi?? Are you doing alright???" Lightning asked.
He didn't reply.
"Luigi..."
"Hey bro, are you doing okay?" Mario asked.
At that moment, Luigi de-evolved back to an Eevee and collapsed.
"LUIGI!!!" Lightning and Mario caught him before he could hit the ground.
Lightning put a berry in his mouth and helped him swallow.
After a few moments, he opened his eyes once again to see Mario and Lightning.
"W-what happened???" He asked.
"You fainted. You must have lost a lot of energy while you were battling but I gave you a Sitrus Berry to help you." Lighting answered.
"Oh. Thank you very much."
"You are very welcome, Weegee-I-I mean Luigi." Lightning replied.
Luigi chuckled. "I caught you this time."
"Oh alright then. You got me." Lightning smirked.
"Come on you two. We should keep moving. We wouldn't want to get into anymore trouble, right?" Mario said.
"Right..." Lightning replied. Mario, Luigi and Lightning gave each of their friends a berry to get their energy back as they continued on their way to save the forest from destruction.
Mario walked to Luigi's side. "Hey, Bro?"
"Yes Mario?"
"I think Lightning likes you."
"Y-you really think so??? I-I don't know..." Luigi replied, looking away from his brother.
"Oh come on bro. It's obvious. You should talk to her. You clearly like her back."
"I-uh..." he suddenly turned red in embarrassment.
"Don't be shy bro... You can tell her when you're ready. I won't force you. I won't say anything to her. It's all up to you."
Luigi gulped. "I-I don't think I can. What if she rejects me because I'm human? She saved us but I don't think she will allow a human like me to love her, would she?"
