Chapter 38

"Fudge! FUDGE!  FUDGE!  FUDGE! FUDGE MY LIFE!" I yelled as i ran across the woods with a FREAKING DRAGON ON MY TAIL (no pun intended)

*record scratch*

Hey,  this is me!  I'm (Name),  you're probably wondering how i got in this situation.  Well, it all started this morning

I walked downstairs and saw BEN in front of the TV playing games as usual,  but this game seems odd to me

"BEN? What'cha playing? " i ask,  he slightly turned his head but his eyes never left the screen

"huh? What?  Can you repeat that?" he mumbled and continued to play,  i frowned.  "I said,  what are you playing?"

"oh,  it's a new game named Crowns.  It's an RPG game where you're placed in a medieval time and the land is ruled dragons and every time we defeat a dragon we get their crown" he explained

I raised an eyebrow "what's the end?" i asked,  "there's this final boss dragon that we have to defeat to win the game.  The more crown we have,  the stronger we get" 

"sounds fun" i said and looked over to him "how long have you been playing?" 

"i dont know,  lost track of time" he muttered

"god,  would i love to be in this game just to get away from reality" he said

"can't you? You always went inside a game,  can't you do this one?" i ask

His eyes widened and looked at me like i just uncovered the meaning of life,  okay... This is getting awkward

"YOU'RE A GENIUS!" he yelled and grabbed my shoulder and shake me around

"you're just too stupid to realize your own powers " i grumbled. "come on! Don't you wanna come along?" he asks

"yeah,  sure.  I have nothing better to do" i said and went into the TV with BEN,  but the weird thing is that we were engulfed with a bright light

I opened my eyes and saw that i was in the middle of the woods and i didn't see BEN anywhere.  I looked down and saw that my clothes changed and i held a staff in my hand

"wow,  how did that happen??" i muttered.  And looked around "BEN? BENN??"  i called out but heard no response

"guess i have to keep walking?" i said to myself and walked aimlessly.
A few minutes of walking i felt the ground shook,  like that scene in jurassic park

"oh god" i muttered and looked back,  a dragon was walking behind me and it didn't look happy.  "a human?  Here? How lucky,  i will capture you and take you to the emperor" the dragon said

"the emperor?  Really? Is that the best name you could come up with?" i ask,  the dragon didn't respond to me but roared loudly

I tried to use my powers but it seems that i cant.  WHY CAN'T I USE MY OWN POWERS? "uh oh,  FRIDGE!" I curser and started running.

"Fudge! FUDGE!  FUDGE!  FUDGE! FUDGE MY LIFE!" I yelled as i ran across the woods with a FREAKING DRAGON ON MY TAIL (no pun intended)

"what do i do?  What do i do?  What do i do?  What do i do?" i muttered and in a state of panic i pointed my staff towards the dragon and surprisingly a lightning shot out of it and aimed at the dragon

"what in the world?" i muttered and looked at my staff,  the dragon slowly evaporated and only a single golden crown was left in its place.

I took the crown and began to walk again.  I heard a rustle beside me and i immediately pointe my staff at it

"who's there?"

"(Name)?" BEN came out of the bushes,  "you're okay!"  he exclaimed and ran towards me.

"yeah I'm okay,  and WHAT AND WHY ARE WE NOT ABLE TO COME OUT OF THE GAME?! " i yelled

" the game may have been..... Cursed" he muttered

"says the person who's own game is cursed" i said

"I know" he looked down in shame.

"now we have to find a way to get out of here, i can't use my powers and it sucks " i said.

" great" he groaned. "so what am i?  And what are you?"  i ask

"You're a witch,  I'm a swordsman " he replied.

"I think we have to fight the final boss to get out of here." he stated

"great,  now lets just go there"

"wait,  we have to see how much crown we have" BEN stated.

I opened up my stats and saw that i have 80 crowns and BEN has 65 crowns

"is this enough? " i pointed to my stats.

" are you kidding me? I went a week to get 50 crowns and you got 80 on a whim? " he whined

" maybe this is based on our real powers? " i asked. " that is possible " he muttered.

" now lets go!! " i exclaimed and dragged BEN along with me to who knows where
