Learning more about the roar

Kion asked Rafiki about his roar and he learned something new about his power.

Rafiki: What is it with you're roar that you want to talk about?

The mandrill said calm

Kion: When I have roared It is going back to me again and that's why my bones have been broken the last few times.

Rafiki: Please show me

Kion: The roar?

He said kinda confused

Rafiki nodded

Kion: Okay. Here goes.

He said and then roared. The roar did what Kion expected. It was coming for him. But before the roar hit Kion Rafiki stepped in front of him and raised his staff. The roar stopped and it was just hanging in the air.

Kion: Heyvi Kebisa

He said surprised

Rafiki got closer to the roar of the elders and touched it with his staff. Then he touched the roar it vanished and flew around the old mandrill. Rafiki laughed a little.

Rafiki: Ah I see

He said thinking

Kion: What is it? What did my roar tell you?

He said avid

Rafiki: It told me that you don't believe in yourself as you are used to. And that something is troubling you.

Kion: Don't believe in myself as I'm used to? Something that is troubling me? What does that mean?

Kion: And that is I have to go to the Desertlands. It's not something my dad said I should do. I got a message from an old friend that I thought was gone for a long time. And I need to finish a mission we did before I was the leader of the Lion Guard. And the walk takes 3 weeks to get there. And the mission takes about a month. So I'm worried about how Fuli is going to react when I tell her about it.

He said not knowing what to do.

The other guys from the Guard said hello to Kion but he didn't respond. Ono was the one who knew who Kion searched for.

Ono: She is outside hunting somewhere.

He said calm

Kion: Thank you Ono!

He saw Fuli immediatly

Kion: Fuli!

He yelled to get her attention

Fuli was about to get a gazelle until she heard Kion shout her name and it got away.

Fuli: Ugh Kion this has to be important!

She said to herself

Fuli: Yes Kion what is it?

She said slightly annoyed

Kion: I need to tell you something

He said serious

He walked over to Fuli

Kion sighed and then told her.

Kion: I'm going to be gone for a month or something.

He smiled nervous

Fuli didn't say anything for a minute. But then she began to talk.

Fuli: You are what?!

She said confused and slightly angry

Fuli: Why?! Where are you going?!

She said frustrated

Kion: Look it's complicated. I have to go to the Desertlands. An old friend of mine needs my help. It's more a mission than help. If I help my friend with the mission then I can help Janja and Agathi to have a much more safe place than they have now.

He said with a smile

Fuli: But I....

Kion put a paw on Fuli's mouth

He said and then kissed her.

Kion: I promise you that I will be alright. Okay?

He smiled

Fuli: Okay I can see that I can't change you're mind. Just be careful!

She said worried

He smirked and lifted one eyebrow

Fuli just looked at him with an annoyed look

Kion lifted his right front paw and said

Fuli rolled her eyes.

She giggled and pinned him down.

Kion nuzzled her and then ran towards the Desertlands.
