It's morning and Kion slept well. Except for Janja that couldn't sleep all night.
Kion: Goodmorning Janja how did you sleep?
He asked happy
Janja: Well to be fair I think that was the worst night ever!
He said grumpy
Kion: Oh. Well I feel rested
He said while stretching his body
Janja: How could you even sleep out here under the stars?
He asked
Kion: Well that's because before I was leader of The Lion Guard I sneaked out a lot with my sister Kiara. And there was this one place behind Pride Rock where we could sleep under the stars. So I just think I'm used to it.
He smiled and thought about the old days with his sister.
Janja: Okay that explains a lot
He said understandable.
Kion: So why didn't you sleep well?
He asked kinda worried.
Janja: Well I usally sleep with my pack. But I fellt like I needed them this night.
He said thinking about his hyenas
Kion: Because of me?
He asked and give Janja a smile
Janja: Maybe I don't know
He looked down at his paws
Kion: Well you don't always have to be afraid of me
He said calm
Janja then straightly looked at Kion and said
Janja: Okay look I'm not afraid of you. Understand that!
He slightly growled
Kion. Sure let's just say that
he rolled his eyes while smiling.
Kion: Anyways do you want to help me find a way out of here or what?
He asked confident
Janja: Well I don't think I have anything else to do.
He said sarcastic.
They were a place that was full of trees. They could see a path that lead straight towards the Pridelands.
Kion: Alright I found a path that leads to the Pridelands let's go!
He said happy
Janja stopped where he was
Janja: Did you forget that I can't go there?
He looked down at the ground
Kion: Oh yeah that's right. Ugh stupid rules!
He kicked a small rock with his front paw
Janja: Rules?
He said confused
Kion: The ones my dad made for the Outlanders.
He said angry and sad at the same time.
Kion: I just wished that those rules didn't exist
Janja: Why?
Kion: Because I would like to know and try to show my dad that not everyone from the Outlands is bad
Janja: Okay I can see what you mean.
Kion: I even believe that there is good in you Janja
He smiled
