Chapter 2: 7 deadly minutes-
10:00 did not come fast enough. Isabelle decided not to come, she was hanging out with her boyfriend, Destin. I threw all of my clothes on the floor, in search of the perfect party outfit. After pulling everything out of my suitcase, I finally found the outfit. A red dress and black flats. I decided to tuck my hair into a side-braid and off I went to my date at Josh's party.
I head to the west wing (the boy's dorm hall). He told me to meet him at room 418. After a while of searching I came across a door, with music playing so loud, I was surprised they hadn't gotten into trouble yet! I knocked. No answer. I knocked again, still no answer. Finally, I decided to kick the door and let myself in. Ah, those karate classes really did come in handy. Slowly, I walk in through the door. I see no sign of Josh. Where could he be? After a moment of hesitation, I decide to sit on the couch and wait for him. This room is much bigger than mine. It's like a presidential sweet! There is a small living room, a fridge in the corner and 3 doors which lead to the three rooms or bed chambers as they call them in this fancy boarding school. Wow, they are lucky. They don't have to live all bunched up in the same room. After about six minutes of waiting, Josh finally appears and takes a seat on the couch, next to me.
"Hey blondie." he smiles, "sorry I'm late. My friends and I were playing a game. But I am all yours now." he finishes the sentence with a chuckle.
"No it's fine." I reply.
"Levin, do you want to join my friends and I in a game of Truth Or Dare? We'd all appreciate to look at a pretty face." Josh says and I begin to feel butterflies in my stomach.
"Sure Josh." I reply.
He grabs my hand and leads me to a door with "Josh" plaqued on it. He opens the door to a room probably half the size of my room. But still pretty spacious for his OWN room. Inside sitting in a circle on the floor is a very pretty blonde curly-haired girl, a handsome light brown haired boy with tousled hair, a girl and a boy holding hands and...Jennifer? She didn't seem so shy anymore, laughing and poking the blonde girl's shoulder. They all looked like they were having loads of fun.
Josh leads me over to an open spot in the circle next to the blonde girl and the boy with tousled hair.
"This is Rachel." He signals to the girl with a slight glare on her face.
"And this is Alexander." As soon as Josh finishes introducing him, the boy waves.
"You can call me Xander for short or Alex. Whatever you'd like." the boy says with a grin.
"Okay so are we going to start the game?" The boy and girl holding hands say. Their names are Emily and Dylan.
The game is simple. Each of us were asked whether we wanted a truth or a dare, and then we had to perform it, if we didn't we had to face a consequence. The first person to go was Dylan. He was dared to dance outside in the hall to gangnam style until the song ended. It was hilarious. Next up was Rachel. She was asked a truth question on who her first crush was. After a while into the game, all of us had gone at least twice except for Xander, Jennifer, and me.
"I pick..." Josh scanned the circle for the next victim. "Levin."
Suddenly, i felt frightened, what trick could he have up his sleeve?
"So guys what do you think the newbie should have to do? Because I have absolutely no clue" Josh asks.
Rachel answered, "drink as many cups of wine as you can in 2 and a half minutes. No stopping."
What? No way! I wasn't even old enough for that! But what would the consequence be? What if it was worse? Reluctantly, I agreed.
About 5 wine glasses later, i began to feel drowsy. The world around me was spinning. Everything felt, looked like, and tasted purple. Purple! Thats a color! Not a flavor or a texture! Ooh, a unicorn! Levin! Snap out of it! I feel a wave of happiness come over me. And then dizziness. Im drunk! I have to stop! STOP! NO! YES! NO! Ugh. Yay!
"Helloo? Levin?!" Everyone shouts.
"Hi! What do you want?" I say gleefully.
"I just dared you and Josh to play 7 minutes in heaven with each other. Everyone else will leave this room. It'll be pitch dark for a whole 7 mins and it'll just be you two. Do what you please." Emily says with a giggle.
"Okay sure!" I give josh a peck on the cheek. "Lets go!"
Everybody leaves the room leaving Josh and I alone.
"7 minutes starting now!" Emily shouts from outside the door.
Josh walks towards me ever so slowly, but I stay put.
"We've got seven minutes all to ourselves, beautiful. What do you want to do Levin?" He speaks silently, grabbing my side. Then ever so slightly, he pulls my head towards him and kisses me on my cheek. The next thing I know, he pushes me onto his bed. I start giggling. I can't stop giggling! I keep giggling until I start feeling drowsy again. Josh kisses my cheek again. Suddenly, i hear banging on the door. It's Alex.
"STOP IT! She is drunk! She doesn't know what she is doing! Let her go, Josh!" He yells.
That's when it hits me. What am i doing? No, no this can't be happening! I push Josh off of me with all my force and run. I can hear him yelling my name but I don't want to turn back. I keep running until the room starts to spin.
All of a sudden, I fall to the ground, my head pounding. Everything goes black. I hear the sound of footsteps moving around me but when I try to open my eyes they refuse to. Then out of nowhere an argument breaks out.
"Josh, you are a total idiot! What made you think you can mistreat a clueless girl like that?!" It's Alex's voice.
"Hey! Enough! You interrupted us! She was having fun!" Josh booms.
Alex laughs at Josh, "Fun? She was drunk! She won't remember a thing tomorrow and you took advantage of that! You know what, you're a total jerk!" Alexander shouts even louder now.
I hear a door slam and then I feel someone pick me up off of the ground, gently. I know I am being carried. I just don't have the force to wake up, to get up, to say something. All I know is that I will never speak to Josh again. And that what Alexander has done for me today is something that I will always owe him for. After a while of walking, I feel myself being placed on a bed and a blanket being thrown over me. Then Alex gives me a soft kiss on my forehead, before I fall deep into my slumber.
To be continued.....
