The Little Things

NATHAN'S POV:

"Yes..." She whispered, gripping my hands even more.

"Oh my god, really?!" I exclaimed excitedly as people around us cheered. I wrapped my arms around her, embracing her into a hug.

To be honest, she was frozen for maybe three minutes, making me doubt that she was going to say yes! But to my suprise she wanted me to be hers and for her to be mine for infinite.

"You have no idea how happy I am!" She chuckled at me before saying,

"The next few months are going to be hell..." It was my turn to chuckle as I pulled away from our hug. I wiped away her tears, noticing the glow that her eyes had. 

"I love you so much!" I gasped.

"I love you too!" New tears covered her cheeks again, putting my thumb back to wiping them away.

We all left, Veronica and I in a different taxi than everyone else.

"I can't believe that just happened..." Veronica grinned, wide eyed. I smiled at her, showing my teeth before wrapping my arm around her. 

"Yeah, I know!" She laid her head on my shoulder, before kissing my cheek.

When we arrived to our hotel, Veronica smelled flowers when we got closer to our room but I kept denying her.

"I swear! Babe it smells like umm..." I put the key in the lock, turning it. I opened the door before finishing her sentence,

"Roses!" She stepped in, shocked for the second time today.

"Nathan!" She gasped, taking in the smell of roses and the dark room, being illuminated by a trail of red candles.

"It's only if you want too!" I rushed before she felt pressured.

"I don't ever want to hurt you or rush you!" She smiled, caressing my cheek with her hand.

"I thought it was time anyways!" Her eyes were filled with worry yet love.

"You sure? I mean, I have a backup plan!" I spoke a little too quickly.

"And what's that?" She questions, studying my features for a sign of something besides worry.

"We could just eat strawberries with chocolate or whip cream in the bedroom or here!" I suggested, gesturing around the living room with my hands for the last suggestion of eating here.

"No, Nath... it's time! Unless of course you don't want too, it's fine!" She turned red, embarrassed at the thought of pressuring me.

She looked at her boots, avoiding any eye contact with me. Gently lifting her chin, I quickly kissed her before leading her to the room, following the trail of scented red candles.

When we reached the bedroom, I opened it to reveal the same candles surrounding the white bed.

"I love you!" I whispered.

"I love you too!" She smiling before I attacked her with a gentle kiss. Soon, I turned it into a heated make out session.

Then one thing lead to another and I knew this was going to be very special.

VERONICA'S POV:

I turned my hand, making the sunlight hit the ring, making it glitter under the light. It was a three stone which had no color, besides silver and rainbow. The only time rainbow appears is when the sun shines on it.
