Mason's POV.

How long can I keep this secret away from her?

She always look innocent when it comes to these things.

How long can I keep everything away from her especially Alex and their relationship?

"Daddy! Daddy!" Rose called out.

Why do I feel bad when this little girl calls me 'Daddy'?

"What is it baby girl?" I smiled.

"Where's Mommy? Did she leave me?" She confusedly asked.

"Look baby girl," I picked her up and continued, "she will never leave you because she really loves you. If she doesn't love you, won't she fight for your life when you're still inside her?"

    "Yes, you're right Daddy. So, where's Mommy?" She scrunched her nose and forehead.

I pressed my hand on her forehead and touched her nose with my index finger and smiled.

"Stop making cute expressions baby girl. It's melting me. Haha!" I laughed.

She suddenly pouted her lips, scrunched her nose and forehead.

"Where's Mommy!?" She glared at me.

"Haha! Okay, I surrender. She's buying groceries for us to eat. Clear?" I said.

She nodded various time before jumping from my arms.

"Daddy! Daddy! Catch me if you can!" She giggled.

I tried to catch her around the house and guess what?

I caught her because of my vampire speed that is greater than hers.

Suddenly, the door opened and there was Jennifer looking very tired with bunch of bags in her hands.

"Allow us to help you, Jen," I smiled.

"How thoughtful of you." She smiled.

"How's your day?" I asked.

"Good. By the way, what do you want to eat? I can cook Rose's and your favorite dish. Is that okay?" She raised her eyebrow.

I wiggled my eyebrows as I made my way to the living room.

"Rose baby! Come here!" I said.

"Daddy! Come and find me!" She giggled.

I quickly found her then picked her up and spun her around.

Again, the door opened and there was Alex standing confusedly looking at us.

"i found you now Mason. It's great to see you now. How've you been?" He said.

"I-I'm great. Why are you here anyways?" I asked.

This is not just fucking great. He will later on see Jennifer and what will happen?!

"I just wanna see you after you know, what happened..." He said.

He can't know that this is his own child.

"So who's child is that?" He asked.

"M-My friend." I stuttered.

"Mason! Who's our guest?" Jennifer said.

This can't be fucking good.

This will be a disaster; a massive one.

Before I could stop her, she already left the kitchen to interact with us in the living room.
