Shuichi started walking off in the direction he saw Kokichi go in. He found himself wondering into the woods. Fortunately, there didn't appear to be anything dangerous. As he walked, he made sure to memorize his surroundings. After awhile of aimlessly walking, he stumbled upon a mansion. He slowly approached it, unsure of who he would find there. No way Kokichi is in there, Shuichi thought. He went up to the gate and tried to open it. It wouldn't move.

"Hey," someone yelled. He turned to see two people. But not just anyone, it was Miu and Kiibo. "What do you think you're doing?" Miu pushed Shuichi against the gate. "I don't recall her saying she was expecting someone." Miu said it more to Kiibo then Shuichi.

"W-what," Shuichi stuttered. "Miu... Kiibo... is that really you?" Kiibo pushed Miu aside.

"How do you know our names," he asked.

"I-uh, wait. You don't remember me?" Shuichi felt hurt, till he realized this wasn't Miu and Kiibo. It couldn't be.

"Pretty sure I'd remember someone as disgusting as you," Miu said.

"Can we just kill him and get back to work," Kiibo complained.

"Sounds like a plan!" The two pointed two giant guns at him. His eyes widened.

"Miu, Kiibo, what are you doing," someone asked. The two turned to look at them. Rantaro stood behind them with his arms crossed, an annoyed expression on his face.

"R-Rantaro," Shuichi said. Rantaro gave him a surprised look, as if he hadn't noticed him there.

Turning back to Miu and Kiibo, he asked "Who is this? And why does he know my name?" Before they got a chance to respond, he stopped them. "Nevermind. The sooner he's dead the sooner you'll get back to work." He pulled out a gun and pointed it at Shuichi's head.

Shuichi backed up, only to realize the gatet was no longer there. He bumped into someone. Rantaro quickly put down the weapon. Shuichi slowly turned, not knowing who he should expect. He froze as he came face to face with Kaede.

"K-K-K-," Shuichi stutered, unable to get her name out. She gave him a smile before looking at Rantaro with an annoyed expression.

"What did I tell you," she yelled.

"I know but he was getting in the way of Miu and Kiibo's work," Rantaro explained. "This seemed the quickest way." Kaede crossed her arms.

"I don't care," Kaede turned back to Shuichi. "Sorry about him. Are you alright?" Shuichi struggled to get a word out. He ran off, leaving everyone confused.

Shuichi didn't know where he was going but didn't stop to check. He just wanted to be anywhere but there. This all seemed like some sick joke. They couldn't be alive. There was no way. He saw their lifeless dead bodies. But then how were they here? This seemed like a lot of work just for a joke. Shuichi couldn't make any sense of it.

After a while of running, he realized he was back where he started. Looking around, he noticed a house. With the chance of getting another gun pointed at him, he walked in. It seemed empty at first, but as Shuichi wandered around, he found someone working at a desk. It was Kirumi. Deciding it was probably best not to disturb her, he turned to leave.

"I know you're there," she said, getting up from her desk. "Intruder."

"I was just leaving," he replied. "Sorry.."

"But why are you here? Are you another spy?"

"Spy?"

"If so, then get out." Unsurprisingly, she took out a knife.

"Okay okay! I'm leaving! Sorry, Kirumi." As he started to walk away, Kirumi grabbed his arm.

"Wait! Who are you?" She pointed the knife at his neck.

"Shuichi Saihara!" Her eyes widened.

"How?"

"Huh?"

"That not possible. Unless..." Kirumi put down the knife. "How did you get here?"

"This place or this house?"

"This place."

"Oh. Well I was... just doing something, when Kokichi stopped me and dragged me down a hole. Then he made me drink this stuff." He pulled out the bottle and showed it to Kirumi. Her expression went from shock to angry.

"That little..." Kirumi snatched the bottle away, examining it. She sighed. "Well, I've got some bad news. You can't leave this place till this is all filled back up." He gave her a confused look.

"That can't be that hard, right?"

"To fill it up, you have to interact with people. But not just a random conversation here and there. They have to be your friend. Which could be quite difficult."

"Yeah, I've noticed people are ready to kill me at any second."

"I apologize for that. I've been having quite a problem with spies lately."

"Spies?"

"Yes. I don't know what I do in your world, but here, I do top secret important stuff. But enough of that. If you would like, you can stay here for the night. I assume you have no place to go?" Shuichi shook his head. "Okay then."

"Wait, I got a question. Everyone else I met asked how I knew their name, except you. Why?"

"No one knows my name. I just go by K.T. When you said my actual name, I knew you weren't from here. Not only that, but you looked familiar." Kirumi looked at him up and down. "Guessing things aren't so great in your world?"

"You could say that. How'd you know?"

"You looking like you've been through hell and back." Kirumi held up a nearby mirror.

"Oh."

"Come." Kirumi motioned for Shuichi to follow her. She stopped in front of a door. "This is the bathroom. There are clothes in the closet by the door. I can not stand to look at... this." Kirumi pointed at him. "You're room is down the hall. It will have the number 31 on it." She walked away. Shuichi stood there and thought about some of the things she said. He started to get more and more confused.
