Shuichi headed off towards Kirumi’s place, but due to all the trees and grass looking the same, he just wandered in endless circles, getting farther from his destination with every step. He kind of wished he’d asked Kokichi for directions first, though knowing him, it would be the equivalent to asking a rock. And at least the rock doesn’t play games. Maybe blindly walking around was the best option. He could finally get the peace and quiet he wanted.

Or so he thought.

Voices were heard coming in his direction, stopping him in his tracks. He recognized those voices immediately, and they weren’t people he wanted to see. Miu and Kiibo made their way towards him, weapons in hand. Miu squealed when she saw Shuichi, tackling him to the ground. Kiibo watched with narrowed eyes.

“I found him I found him,” Miu cheered.

Shuichi attempted to crawl away but Kiibo stood in his path, as if appearing out of nowhere.

“I know, Miu,” Kiibo said in a bitter tone.

“G-get off,” Shuichi said.

Miu surprisingly did what he asked before saying, “Let’s go play!”

Shuichi gave her a confused look. “What?”

“Kaede said if we found you, we can do whatever we want! Well, besides kill you, that is. And so we want to play!”

“P-play?”

Without warning, Kiibo picked Shuichi up, causing him to scream. They started running towards the mansion, Miu laughing about how much fun they’ll have. Shuichi forced himself to not think about what she means, instead focusing on how different she was. This Miu seemed more child like, only occasionally spewing a dirty joke. Kiibo on the other hand seemed rather cold, glaring at Miu everytime she was too loud.

As they neared the mansion, Shuichi fully realized his situation and started struggling to get out of Kiibo’s grip, which only made it worse. His attempts proved to be useless as they walked inside, heading towards a room.

“Wait wait,” Shuichi yelled, trying to kick Kiibo.

“What is it,” Miu asked, going from overly happy to annoyed within seconds.

“W-what are you going to do?”

“I thought it was obvious,” Kiibo said, putting Shuichi down and putting a knife to his neck.

Shuichi’s eyes widened, finally understanding.

“Run,” Miu said.

Kokichi purposely wandered in circles, avoiding going back to the castle. No doubt Maki was going to throw a fit and send him on an impossible mission again. Almost losing his arm once was enough. He was going to have to find someway to make amends, which was always such a pain.

Suddenly, a sword came flying out of nowhere, barely missing his head. He looking around, though knew exactly who it was. Peko ran at him, wielding another sword and jabbing it in his arm. He gave her an unamused look before taking the sword out and kicking her to the ground. Footsteps were heard from behind. Kokichi instantly turned around, using the sword to shield himself from the bullets flying at him. Fuyuhiko stood in front of Kokichi, holding a gun to his head.

“Hello, Fuyuhiko,” Kokichi sang. “Long time no see!”

Fuyuhiko pulled the trigger but Kokichi was too fast, ducking before turning back to Peko, grabbing her and swinging her into Fuyuhiko. The two were on the ground for mere seconds before they were back at it again, charging at Kokichi with their weapons. A knife stuck Kokichi in the hand, buying the two sometime to kick Kokichi down. But he didn’t stay there long before he took out the knife and plunged it into Fuyuhiko’s left eye.

Peko grabbed the gun and started shooting at Kokichi, though missed everytime as Kokichi dodge every single one, before using her own sword against her and impaling her through her stomach. Fuyuhiko called out to her, running to her aid. Kokichi took this opportunity to take the gun and put three bullets in Fuyuhiko’s head.

Fuyuhiko fell to the ground, his body going limp. Peko took the sword out of her, reaching out for him. Kokichi shot a bullet near her head, making her freeze.

“Maki sent you,” Kokichi asked. Peko nodded. “Figured. You two were out for way more blood than usual.”

“It was your life or ours,” Peko said with no emotion.

“Yeah yeah. Don’t care. Get out of my sight before that idiot has to clean up two bodies.”

“W-wha-”

Kokichi shot another bullet, sending Peko running, carrying Fuyuhiko in her arms. He sighed, stumbling away from the scene. A mansion could be seen not too far away. Knowing he wouldn’t be welcomed there, he turned to go a different way. A familiar screamed erupted from there, making Kokichi stop. Shuichi was in danger, and Kokichi would have to save him. Again.
