"Assassins," Shuichi yelled. "Why didn't Kirumi warn me!?"
"Don't worry," Kokichi said. "You have as much of a chance of dying here as much as anywhere else."
"How is that supposed to make me feel better?"
"It's not." Shuichi rolled his eyes as Kokichi laughed.
"Whatever. Why did you bring me here?"
"You came here yourself. I had been planning to meet you at Kirumi's, buuuttt..."
"No." Shuichi was trying to hold back his anger. "I mean, this whole place in general. And why did you make me drink that stuff?"
"Well I had to keep you from leaving somehow."
"But where is here?"
"Would you believe-"
"Kokichi!"
"You're right. We've already done this."
"I am not in the mood for-" Shuichi stopped when he heard a familiar voice. Surprisingly, he hadn't even thought that he might run into that person. At first he wasn't even sure if he heard it right.
"Yeah, that's right," the voice shouted."No one can stop Kaito Momota!"
Shuichi's eyes widened. He ran off towards the voice. Kokichi gasped then tackled Shuichi to the ground.
"No," Kokichi screamed. "You need to leave! Right now!" Kokichi got up and started pulling Shuichi away.
"Hey," Shuichi yelled. "Let go!"
"No. You should've never came here!" Shichi pushed Kokichi away.
"I'm going to go see him whether you like it or not." Shuichi started walking away while Kokichi panicked.
"I've got this," said female voice. A cloud of smoke appeared in front of Shuichi, stopping him in his tracks. Himiko appeared through the smoke. "Ta da!" Her sudden appearance attracted the attention of some nearby assassins.
"Hey, you there," a short blonde guy yelled.
"Time to go!" Himiko grabbed Shuichi's hand and ran off.
"Why does everything keep pulling me around," Shuichi yelled. The blonde, along with some others, chased them till they were off the property. But Himiko didn't stop. "Hey, uh, Himiko, they stopped chasing us. You can stop now." She stopped, but Shuichi knew the real reason.
"Kokichi told you about me!?" Himiko jumped up and down with excitement. It was now that Shuichi noticed she had cat ears and a tail.
"Um... no. Sorry. But..." Shuichi stopped himself before he questioned her ears and tail. "Anyways, why did you do that?"
"Because I owed Kokichi. It didn't seem like he could stop you, so I did."
"But why? I just wanted to talk to Kaito!"
"Beats me. Wait, you said Kokichi never mentioned me. So how did you know my name?"
"Uh... magic?" It was Shuichi's attempt at a joke, seeing if the real Himiko was there. Her eyes lit up.
"You can do magic too!?" Shuichi laughed as he shook his head.
"I see you haven't changed a bit," She gave him a confused look.
"What? We've never met before."
"That's half true." Shuichi wondered if he should try to explain it or not. Barely knowing anything at all, he decided it was best not to.
"What?"
"Nothing. Uh, where are we?" Shuichi looked around, not recognizing his surroundings.
"Were in the most magical place ever!"
"But where-"
"Himiko, there you are," a voice said. Angie approached them. "Atua says you've been skipping out on your duties." Himiko rolled her eyes.
"I already told you, no," Himiko complained. "Besides, I was going to show this guy around." She pointed to Shuichi. Angie smiled.
"Oh! Who are you? Have you come to join the path to Atua?" Shuichi shook his head.
"Uh, no. Just walking through."
"Well you are welcomed to stay here as long as you like. You may not even want to leave" Shuichi raised an eyebrow at that but shook it off as Angie walked off.
Himiko motioned for Shuichi to follow her as she walked away. They approached a dark looking area with a lot of glowing lights. There was a circle with some people around it. Shuichi was starting to get a weird feeling from the place. And his feelings only got worse when he saw Korekiyo.
