2.Lost Memories

"How much longer till the stop Greg" Miguel asked searching for a gas station

"Not *yawn* sure but I'm sure we're close to one" Greg explained

Lost in thought from the remembrance of their lost parents not only about there Dad, but also there Mom, who died from a broken heart. Due to the loss of her life long partner made her get really depressed she wasn't her happy go self anymore she'd barely go out and she rarely left her room. Since I was at school and Miguel started attending college as well, gran gran had to move in not only to help the twins but help her baby girl as well. Unfortunately she ended up passing and the family was destroyed by the loss of the parents and shortly after gran gran passed as well so we had lost everything , all that remained was us

"Greg there it is" Irene pointed out

I turned into the gas station we all got out to stretch a bit and Miguel took over as driver while I sat in the passenger seat. He turned in the radio to start playing some smooth rock music and shortly after I dazed off into a sleep.

"Hey Greg lets go see what's in the cave" Edward said as he pulled me to follow

Me Edward and another of my friends were walking around the backyard of my house looking throughout the Forest. We ran into a cave and decided to go in and look

"Doesn't seem that bad, lets go check it out" Eric said taking lead with me and Edward following behind him.

"Hey Greg what's in this cave?" Eric asked as slowly paced forward

"Dunno haven't really checked it out" I explained " this is the first time for it"

As they make there way down the path they hear a slight crackle "uh guys what was that noise" Edward asked slightly on edge

"Yeah I heard that too" I agreed "lets not go to far Eric seems a bit eriee in here"

"Guys relax nothing's in here you're just hearing things" Eric explained as he kept moving and we followed after him

We kept going further and further into the cave. "Eee.....rrric"

"What was that?" Edward said freaked out

"Eric lets go somethings not right" I told him

"Fine we'll go " Eric said submissively

As we turned there was a loud crackle followed by fast paced footsteps as if someone was running up to us . We quickly turned to see who it was but no one was there

"Y.. yeah let's get going" Eric said now freaked out

We turned and there was a figure infront. We stood there scared of what's going to happen. It slowly approached us. And before we can move it was right in our faces. It's face showed and you saw sapphire blue eyes but there was no life behind them. His brunette hair had traces of blood in it and he has a massive slash in his neck.

"What.... what do you want" I blurted out

It just stared and shortly after it yelled a terrifying scream making our bodies shake from the terror.

I shouted as I woke up from the dream scaring the others in the car

"Greg what's wrong" Miguel asked worried

I was taking in my soundings, as I looked out the wind shield I saw the exact same figure

"Miguel watch out " I shouted

He quickly swerved and span out onto the side of the road

"What happened" Miguel asked scared

"I saw -" as I looked to the road I saw that the man i had seen was gone it was just an empty road "I saw a man on the road"I said faintly

"Greg what did you see" Miguel asked once again now getting annoyed

"I thought i saw a man on the road"I said

"Dammit Greg your just tired from a long day at work and you just saw things I saw nothing on the road and you really scared me" Miguel said with a sigh of relief "lets just get back on the road,we're an hour away"

We both climbed back in and started up the car and made our way to the cabin

"Alright we're here" I said as the twins woke up

We got out and started to unload our luggage and made our way into the cabin.
It was a old dark oak two story cabin with 4 bedrooms ,2 bathrooms ,one on each floor,
Full kitchen, dining room ,and living room.

"Great it's still being taken care of" I said as we walked into the clean cabin.

"Well let's Settle things first" Miguel said "me and Greg get the rooms on the second floor"

"Hey not fair why do you guys get first choice" Ramsey complained

"He's right Miguel" I said backing up Ramsey " me and David are getting the top floor" I said with a smirk

"And why is that" Miguel asked

"Because we're older and we need our space from the young ones" I told him as I made my way to my room "besides I don't mind ,but good luck convincing David into letting you take his room"

Miguel just stared knowing he has faced defeat.

"So my and David get the top floor and you three , Miguel gets one room and the twins get the twin beds room" I explained

"Fine with us, lets set up our room so we can get back to playing" Ramsey said charging to thier room with Irene following

"Dammit Greg , guess complaing won't change anything ,either way i got my own room" Miguel said as he walked into his room.

I had finished setting up my room when i heard a knock at the front door. "Don't worry I got it" I shouted so i can let the others know that I'll get the door.

I opened the door and was greeted by 2 individuals who i guessed were neighbors

"Hi nice to meet you my name's Alex" she said happily as she stuck out her hand. She was a brunette with shoulder length hair which was curly. "And this if my friend Tyler"

She pointed over to the man behind her. He was around 5'8 a good four centimeters shorter than me. He was in good shape and had brunette hair that sat slightly above his ear. I couldn't see his eyes since he was wearing glasses

"Hey nice to meet you" he said shaking my hand as well

"We live at the house behind the blueberry bushes down there feel free to come by" she said pointing at the cabin "Oh my bad what's your name by the way"

"My name's Greg and i just got here today with my brothers and sister" I told them

"Nice to meet you Greg" Alex said with a big smile " Hey there Greg" Tyler said afterwards

"Do you think we can meet the rest of your family" Alex asked

"Its kinda late and we're all tired from our long drive up here so sorry not now but come back tomorrow and you can meet them" I told them apologetic

"Its fine Greg" Tyler said bumping my chest with just fist as well as winking from what I can see "see ya around" he said with a smile as he walked away

I just stared at the two as a small grin formed on my face with a slight blush
"Greg has a crush " Ramsey said from behind me

"Go to sleep Ramsey it's getting late we need our rest for tomorrow" I told him hiding my blush

He walked to his room as I locked the front door and went up to my room, climbed into bed and dozed off.
