10.Truth Revealed

I stared and tilted my head as I processed what I had just heard.

"Wh.....what?" I stuttered

"I've seen the things you've seen.........well more like dreamt them."

I stared blankly at him , unaware of what to say or how to feel . I was frozen

"Greg ......"

"Since when? " I asked him as I reached for his hand

"Um I think 8"

"Mine started at 8 as well" I added "wait I need to get something" I said climbing off my bed and walking to my closet

"What is it"

I looked through it for a bit and eventually came out with an old , torn down book. "I have something that can rid us of these night terrors"

"Excuse me? "

"You heard me clearly, I may be able to rid us from these unusual nightmares"

He just stared baffled about what I said "it's just dreams Greg , bad dreams"

"I wish you were right"

He just looked at me, confused.

"I've read this book before when i was 14 , and well I played it off as a coincidence, but like....... it's stayed in the back of my head for a long time"

"What do you mean"

I flipped a few pages"there's chance where all Yume no hokō-sha ,also known as dream walkers, eventually we would meet each other, there's four each century that will be given the ability ,yet curse to witness the dream world"I flipped a few more pages "however it well eventually start to eat at you physically and mentally, weaking you until you perish and get your soul sealed away to suffer for the rest of eternity"

He looked appalled "that........ explains allot.....dammit"

"However to save ourselves in life and for death there's a manuscript in this book to stop it" I added as I flipped to the page. "The shadow creature we see kid our way of knowing who is a dream walker, but also once we find one the shadow becomes aggressive and attempts to end you at any costs"

"Wait you've said you've seen me in your sleep state correct" he asked

"Yes actually"

"I've been seeing a man as well, but he's blonde with blue eyes and around your height"

"Then that's the next one and maybe he can help us find the last one" I said writing in my notebook

"But how's that suppose to help there's?, there's multiple blue eyed blondes on earth how are we suppose to find the exact one"

"Oh believe me you'll know it when you see him"

"How so?" He added on

"Well when i first saw you I didn't recognize you because you had glasses on but you look a bit familiar , then when you came over the second time I realized why you caught my attention, you had been appearing like a dead man in my dreams"

"Really?"

"So looks like you're in charge of finding person number three " I added on

"Guess so"

A week has passed since then and i knew this was coming up, the day when the twins and Miguel will be heading back down to Texas for there orientation.

"So how long are you going to be gone? " I asked

"Around one to two weeks" David responded as he backed his suitcase

"We have our orientations for our colleges and we need to attend them" Miguel said entering the living room

"You gonna be good on your own Greg" Irene asked as she placed her hand in my shoulder

"I'll be fine , don't worry about me just go, get your things done for college" I added

"Oh Greg, here"David said handing me a box of condoms

"Why" i asked

"Gotta cover that meatstick" he said laughing to himself

"Just go already, here the keys to my Explorer, leave me your Camaro" I said handing them to him trying to hold in my laughter

"Alright" he said as they walked out , packed there things and took off.

I walked around the house, thinking about what you do. Since I was alone for a week I was wondering what to do so i can pass the time. I played some of my new games, listened to music, read my favorite book, semblance, and taking a nap. However that didn't really help because I still had lots of time to blow.

"*sigh* Well...... I'm bored" I said plopping on the couch

There was a knock on the door and i was well aware of who it was.

"Guess who" Alex said poking in

"Oh hey what's up" I asked surprised

"Where are your folks at?"

"Oh they took off back to Texas for the week, my younger brother and twins are going to there college orientation".

"Oh really, well I came over to ask if you have any noodles I can have" she asked stepping in

"Oh yeah go ahead , here"

"Thanks ill let Tyler know you say hi" she said taking off

I stared confused but amused "nice talk"

I went back to the kitchen to make myself some lunch when there was another knock at the door

"I'm coming" I shouted as I placed the lid on the pot

"What's it this time Ale-"

"Hi" Tyler said softly

"Oh ....hey" as a smiled grew on my face gradually

He stepped in and sat on the couch.

"Heard your family's out of town for the week"

I nodded "yeah college stuff" I said as i walked over to get a Pepsi "glad I'm done with that just need to get my life started" I said taking a sip

"Well I'm done with my third year of college heading on to my fourth year" he said

"What are you majoring in?" I asked

"Oh um in computer science"

"Wow impressive your aren't only just for looks you got the brains to follow it as well" I said teasing him

"Very funny, what was your career choice"

"Music and Technology Education"

"......show off" he mumbled

We sat there and spoke as I prepared lunch. After we ate we started talking about our interests and hobbies eventually leading to is deciding to go on our 2nd date.
