12.Tall and Blonde

I awoke in my bed unaware of what had happened the previous day. I knew I wasn't drunk because I had no hangover and i only drank soda , so I was confused. I realized that I felt a tug on my arm and saw Tyler snuggled up on to me , his head resting on my chest. I smiled and kissed his forehead which woke him up.

"Hey" he said softly

"How'd we get here?" I asked

"I carried you up to your room and knocked out next to you"

"Oh okay" I said pausing shortly "so when did i-"

Before i had the chance to finish my question my phone started ringing. I grabbed it seeing that it was Miguel

Miguel
"Hey Greg you up"

Greg
"Now I am"

Miguel
"Oh sorry if i woke you up"

Greg
"Nah I just woke up either way what's up? "

Miguel
"Remember the day we get back is the twins birthday so we need two birthday cakes"

Greg
"Two cakes? Seriously? "

Miguel
"Yeah Irene wants strawberry, and Ramsey wants chocolate"

Greg
"Alright, I'll head to the store and get the stuff ,anything else?"

Miguel
"Ah also get the gifts out my closet"

Greg
"Shouldn't have asked "

Miguel
"Whatever just do that stuff for Saturday okay"

Greg
"Understood tell them I said hi"

Miguel
"Will do"

After I hung up I Tyler looked at me like he wanted something

"What is it" in asked raising my eyebrow

"Can i go with you?"

"Well I do need to stock up some groceries and i was gonna ask you anyways so yeah come along"

We arrived at the store and I told Tyler what to get and i went off to get the rest of it. I walked to the cake isle to get the essential
Strawberry and chocolate cake mix, sprinkles, candles, frosting, and 2 cake pans. I walked down and found everything except the cake pans, so i walked out the end of the isle and when i turned the corner I ran head first into one of the workers.

"Ow that's gonna hurt" I said rubbing my head

"Dammit that stings ouch" the worker infront of me shouted

I walked up to him and placed my hand on his shoulder to alert him

"Hey uhh..... You okay" I asked

He turned around and looked at me. He was near my height but was slightly taller like around 6'3. He had blue eyes that were brighter than Tyler's and had blonde hair to top it off. If i wasn't talking to Tyler is totally try with this guy. I looked around him more to see if i can find a name tag on him.

"Excuse me? "

"Are you okay Scott?" I asked again

"Yeah , you have such a hard head" he complained

"I've been told that allot" I responded rolling my eyes

"Sorry I didn't mean to be rude"

"It's fine......but how's your head?" I asked getting back in topic

"Yeah its okay but I'm gonna have a bump tomorrow"he said rubbing his head

I got on my toes slightly and looked at guys head and I can feel a small bump forming, knowing from my previous collisions , he was going to have a mark.

"Yeah that's gonna mark you, I know that for sure" I told him

"In guessing I'm not the first one" Scott said

"No but you were the tallest one"

"Well i have to get back to work see you around I guess" he told me

"Uh..... yeah sure" I responded awkwardly

"Oh before i take off what's your name? " Scott asked

"It's Greg" I told him grabbing my basket

"Nice to meet you Greg" he said waving "see ya around" and with that he took off.

I went on to go get the remaining things I needed and met up with Tyler at the bakery section in the store and headed off towards the registers. I headed towards register 8 and was greeted by a familiar face

"Well look who it is" Scott told me waving

"Hey how's your head? " i asked placing my things in the convierbelt

"It still hurts , you got me good Greg" he said laughing

"Sorry about it again , thought i didn't hit you too hard since we were walking." I said pulling out my wallet.

"Hard heads are still hard" he said as he calculated my total "your total is 78.45"

I said my card and put in the pin

"Alright Greg thank you and have a great day hope to see you around" he said handing me the receipt.

I looked at the receipt and saw that thete was a phone number on it. I looked at him and he mouthed something at me

"I know what you know" I read

I put the receipt into my bag and walked out with Tyler following

I arrived back at my place at unloaded the bags , i kept the cake stuff out and put the rest away in thier proper place.

"So about that man what had happened." Tyler asked as he sat on the couch

"Oh i was leaving the cake isle and we bumped heads and I left him a bump" I explained as I poured the chocolate as strawberry cake mix into thier individual bowls.

"So how is your head" he asked

"This isn't new to me probably a small bump at best" I said mixing the chocolate

"Oh okay so can i stay tonight?"

"Can't this time I have some things to do for work and have to make some calls gonna be busy" I said as I placed the pans in the stove

"Please I promise I won't distract you" he begged

"I know you won't but I kinda want time to myself tonight I rarely get to be alone with them so I wanna take advantage of it for one day" I explained

"Alright .......i guess I'll see you tomorrow" he said as he wakes out and returned to his cabin

I looked out to see him make his way to his cabin safety and he did . So i pulled out my phone to give Irene a call

Irene
"Hey what's up Greg"

Greg
"Nothing much"

Irene
"Something wrong"

Greg
"Not really"

Irene
"So what is it"

Greg
"But after I finished getting groceries, the cashier gave me the receipt with his number saying "i know that you know" "

Irene
"It's about that isn't it"

Greg
"Most likely"

Irene
"See what he wants"

Greg
"that was my plan either way"

Irene
"Okay be safe I have to go orientation starting bye"

Greg
"See ya"

I looked at my phone and pulled out the receipt. I thought about it for a second but looking at the time I realized he would still be working, so i inputted his number in my phone and waited for a later time to make the call.
