14.Explanation

"What's with the grey hair and blue eyes Scott" I asked slightly panicked

"You awakened the power that's been slumbering in you" He examined me a bit more "you should be able to access the extra abilities as well and summon the legendary fours weapons" he added

"The four for us?" I asked

"No they're for the leaders family member" he explained

"Okay don't call me , the leader, because I'm still the same old Greg......... just with grey hair"

"Alright well besides the four of us, the leader gets the four legendary weapons which are linked to four members they share blood with"

"So how would I summon them" I asked pacing around

"Similar to what I did" he lead me to the podium in the center of the room" place your hand in the center and focus your energy into it and it should open them"

I lifted the book off the podium and rested it in the floor. I wasn't sure of what he meant but I slowly placed my hand on the the center of it . I focused on it for a good five minutes attempting to copy what he did.

"Okay let me assist you" he said placing his hand on top of mine

He surged his energy into my hand and eventually the podium reacted to it, flowing with grey light and it descended into the ground reveling the 4 legendary weapons.

"Theres a SwordsMan, Archer, a Warlock and Wizard" he explained

"Do i .....just grab them" I asked unsure

"You should be able to , they are yours after all" he explained

I looked at them but they seemed ancient the sword was out of stone, the bow and arrows out of wood, and the staffs as well.

"If you Say so" I approached then gradually

I reached out for the sword and managed to grab it like he said, it was a big one so i figured you'd use two hands , when I placed them both on the handle the sword reacted to my evergy and changed. It became a steel sword and had energy flowing through it. As I grabbed the rest they changed as well.

"So......they've improved....."

"Looks like it ........ you've done more then the previous leaders" he explained

"How so?"

He grabbed the book from me and started to read it out"long ago in the ,year 200 ,there was a man name galadoom who thirsted for power ,craved it , he made a deal with the dark lord, but it ended bad for him, the dark lord ended up taking over his body and using his vessel for his own purposes,he destroyed the minds of people by invading their dreams and devouring there souls, however along with the dark lord came a goddess name krystal, she bestowed her power on four mortals, the dream warriors ,to allow then to take on the dark lord galadoom, there battle took 3 months but they eventually took him down and sealed him away for the next one thousands years"

I stared at him in shock "So we're the next force ... Me....You...Tyler.... and the fourth man"

"Pretty much" he said closing the book "but the previous warriors couldn't access the leader in time and got defeated before the got the chance.......we have till we're fourty"

"So we need to find the last guy....... he's brunette, 5'10 , full beard, and the same blue eyes"

"Okay well now we know what to look for" he told me "we all need to meet here for the preparations and to awaken all our powers"

"Wait what do you mean awaken all our powers"

"We only have access to a fraction of our powers" he said demonstrating" as well your final form,it has purple hair ,while for the other three ,we have blue hair"

"So I'm basically incomplete? " I asked

"In a way ,yes"

I was processing everything I had heard and wasn't sure of what to say. Why was I pointed out as leader, who's the fourth guy, what's the difference between the book I have and the one that's here, and how does Scott know all this.

"So we're gonna have to face galadoom?"I asked

"Eventually we will have to"

"Dam....."

I stood there in silence as I absorbed the information and shorlty after there was a loud crash outside.

"Shit this is new" Scott shouted as he grabbed me and shot outside the cave

We arrived and we saw a purple figure rising out of the hole. It looked at us and spoke into something

"Found two of them"

"What's going on?" I asked

"One of them is the leader"

"Take him down first"??? Commanded

Before I could react he flew at taking me out forest knocking down tree after tree

"Greg" Scott shouted as he shot after me at high speed

I planted my foot on the floor and stopped the man in mid-air

" I actually got scared for a second" I told him as I exhaled "guessing you're one of galadoom's warriors"

He looked at me scared of what he witnessed

"Farewell" I started charging up energy towards my hand preparing to fire a blast head on. As Scott arrived I fired the blast destroying the henchman in seconds.

"Yikes , to think that you have that much power already and you aren't even complete" he said admiring me

"Any clue on who that was? " I asked

"Just a henchman from galadoom"

"So you can run extremely fast it seems" I asked him as I patted of my chest from where i was hit

"Yeah I haven't accessed the ability to fly yet but you should be able to" he explained "just jump into the air and focus your energy"

I did as he said and fell face first into the ground.

"Let's focus on this tomorrow , we should get going" he told me , as he grabbed me and took off getting back to my car

I retrieved the weapons and put then in the trunk of the car and took off. I dropped off Scott at his place and headed home. Once I arrived it was already one. So i placed the weapons in my closet , changed into my pajamas and knocked out.
