5.Family

At 6 the others had returned home and I was in the kitchen preparing dinner

"Greg ,Greg big brother Dave is here yay" Ramsey chanted

"Yeah I saw his car when i came back from the lake" I said as I poured the pasta sauce on the spaghetti

"So Greg how was your date that dude? , seemed pretty interested by you and same goes with you" David said walking into the kitchen

The pasta jar nearly falls into the pot but i manage to catch it before it does "Oh no Its nothing i was just having some alone time by the lake and he just came by to talk nothing much" I said embarrassed

"Oh yeah....... them why did you invite him in and take him to yoir room as well" David added in with a smirk

This time the jar fell into the pot and sauce splashed onto my face "shit" I shouted .

"Oh crap Greg you okay" David asked grabbing me as I tumble back

"The dam sauce got in my eye it burns dammit" I said as I cupped my eye

"Go sit down Greg ill take care of the food" David said as he led me to a chair

I rubbed my eye trying to remove most of the sauce from my but it didn't make no difference Miguel went ahead and took my to the hospital to get it checked out

As I woke up the next morning I panicked because I was only seeing with one eye but I soon remember that i had an eye patch since the sauce affected my eye temporarily

"Second night and I already lost an eye ........... good thing this isn't permanent" I climbed out of bed a headed towards the bathroom so I can take a relaxing shower. Once I was done I got dressed in jeans with a green shirt and I decided to put on my black jacket along with it and I started to make potato and eggs for breakfast. To my surprise Miguel was already waiting at the table as I finished making the food

"Guess you learned your lesson" I told him as I served his plate

"Yep I realized you do allot for us and I shouldn't the it for granted" he said with a smile

"You tried cooking and burnt it didn't you" I said laughing

"Yes I did and I'll never touch the oven again" Miguel said submissively

"Good choice leave the cooking to me" I said as I served my plate and poured myself a cup of juice. After we finished we sat infront of the TV connected Ramsey's switch and began playing smash bros.

"Haha Greg I finally beat you after all these years I've finally beat the unstoppable" Miguel cheered

I just stared at the screen "freaking edge guarding and running away from everything." I said infuriated "hurry up and fight me again you cheeky brat" I yelled and he came back acting confident

"Yes ! I knew it was a fluke I reign supreme" I chanted as Miguel sat on the floor with defeat

"What are you guys doing with my switch" Ramsey asked

"Foods on the table, heat it up if it's cold , playing smash bros against Miguel , showing him what a champion is like" I said extremely focused on the game

"Oh..... Okay" Ramsey said as he ate trying not to get involved

"What's going on " Irene said as she walked in and sat next to Ramsey " Greg and Miguel are going at it in smash bros" he explained as he ate "Oh.......cool" she said as she served herself.

"What do you guys want to do now" David asked

"Dunno we can go to the lake or go hiking up the hill" I suggested

"Let's go to the lake it's close by" David said

We headed to our rooms to get our stuff to take to the lake. I had changed into my trunks and put on a tank top I brought my backpack along which held my phone, a book of mine ,and my goggles

"You guys ready?" David asked. We all nodded "well lets go then " and with that we were off

I was sitting at the picnic table while the others splashed around in the lake throwing water at each other or pulling one another down.

"Gregg common get in" Ramsey shouted

"I'm not sure if i can don't know what it'll do to my eye" I explained to him

"Please Gregg" Ramsey begged

"Fine give me a second" I said as I put down my book, pulled off my tank top, and placed my goggles over my eye patch to keep it in place . I jumped in and swam over to him and began playing marco, polo.

"Guys lets take a picture" David suggested

"Howcome?" I asked as I dropped Miguel from my back making him fall into the water

"So we can have memories from this place with the five of us" he explained

"Guess that makes sense" I said as I made my way to the shore and pulled out my phone "okay we have five seconds so get ready" I placed the phone next to the book so it can stay up while the others lined up from youngest to oldest David held my spot behind him so it'd be in order. " smile" I said as the flash went confirming that the picture was taken

"Let's head back it's getting dark" Miguel said as the sun slowly sank beneath the horizon. The sky had a violent , blue color in it and it was beautiful to see.

A week has passed and not only have my family been spending mostly everyday together I've been getting to know Tyler allot recently. Plus my eye is feeling alot better so i took off the eye patch

"Im coming, I'm coming" I said as I was awakened by knocking at the front door

"Hi"

"Hey there Tyler"I said rubbing my eyes "seems like you haven't gotten used to our sleeping schedule huh"

"Well you're always awake when I come a knock so i assume your awake" he explained

"No that's because you wake me up with the knocking" I told him

"Oh .......sorry Well since your awake there's something I wanted to ask you" Tyler said reaching for my hand

"Better not be a proposal" I said laughing

"What no , that's the last thing that comes to mind"Tyler said smiling "but are you doing anything later"

"As far as I know of no" I said as I fixed my hair "howcome?"

"Wanna go on a date" he asked smiling brightly

I stared at him in shock and I felt my face start to burn I didn't know what to say so i just nodded

"Okay then we'll head out at 5, see you then" Tyler said as he kissed my hand
