18.Misunderstanding

Three weeks had passed since the events have occured, my new power , meeting Scott, the families new duities ,and me and Tyler becoming official. Both me and Tyler had been training to use our powers more and I finally started to be able top fly, while for Tyler he got superspeed like Scott. The twins actually learned to fly as well. While for Miguel and David........ they haven't really done much

"The trainings paying off" I said as I wiped sweat from my head

"Hey Greg lets race me you and Irene" Ramsey asked running up to me

"That'd actually be interesting"

"Alright then it's set" Irene said getting ready

"Wait right now!?"

"3....2....1 go" Ramsey yelled as the both shot off onto the sky

"Hey that's cheating" I shot off after them

They had got a head start , but I was catching up to them quickly. I boosted my speed and passed them making them accuse me of cheating. I just smiled and kept flying forward, eventually a mountain came into sight and I stopped on it as they arrived a few minutes later

"Boosting your speed no far" Ramsey complained

"Hey you cheated first by not letting me get ready"I said defensively

"But you're stronger"

"Your point"

He just gave me a look of disappointment and flew back with Irene following . I smiled a bit thinking about how nice it felt being in this together with my family.

"Having fun"

I quickly turned by the unknown voice and saw that Scott was standing on the mountain ledge

"How'd..... how'd you get up here"

"We'll I saw you flying through the air and I followed you" he explained "looks like you got flying down"

"Yeah , we've been doing some training" I explained

"Seems to be paying off"

"Oh You know it" I clenched me fists and shouted as energy started flowing around me "I figured out how to increase and lower my energy as well"

"Seems like you're understanding your abilities more and more" he complemented

"Yeah pretty much" I said as the force of energy around me faded

"Lets go check on Tyler I need to ask him something" Scott asked

With that we headed back to the cabin site , leading Scott over to Tyler's place. We arrived and I knocked on the door and Rose responded

"Oh it's you been a while since I last seen you gerg" she said happily

"It's Greg, also can we talk to Tyler, our friend wants to see him" I asked

"Oh Greg right, sorry, also go ahead you know where his room is" she said letting is in.

Scott followed behind me slowly as he looked around. We passed Alex's room and you heard music playing, we went past Mari's and you can tell she was in a intense game. We walked up the steps and went to the room to the left. Before I opened the door I heard Tyler in the room talking to someone else. It seemed casual but it eventually started seeming odd. I tried to wait for it to calm down but the suspense got to me and I rushed in , which I had wished I hadn't

"Oh shit Greg.....uh what are you doing here" Tyler said scared

I looked over and saw that Tyson was practically naked in front of Tyler except for the Speedo he was wearing.

"Hey dad" he said with no emotion

I stared blankly in disbelief, and anger flowed through me

".......not even a month........" I whispered but Tyler managed to catch what I said

"Huh what ......oh It's not what it looks like Greg I swear" he said in realization of what I thought

"Shut it"

With that i floated up and shot out of the house with Scott following leaving Rose in confusion of what had occurred by the sudden gust of wind. As we ran away I grabbed Scott and hurled in the air making him land on my back.

"What's going on Greg" he asked worried

"Mind if I stay over I need to clear my mind" i said holding back my emotions "We'll talk when I get there"

"Sure I guess" he said awkwardly "guess you'll take the guest room"

I had arrived at Scott's apartment. Since he lived closer you town it wasn't as quiet as I was used to but I'll work with it. As he unlocked it I followed him in, I looked around and it was pretty big for Someone who lived alone and worked at a supermarket.

"Not to be rude" I said as he turned to me "but how can you afford this big place"

"My parents got it for me once i turned twenty -three" he said sitting on the couch "had it since I graduated from college"

I nodded slowly and went back to examining the place

"What were you going to tell me"

I looked at him and remembered what happened. A frown appeared on my face and my eyes dropped

"Oh..... that" I swallowed my shyness as I looked back at him "even though I haven't known you very long I know I can trust you after what you've ,done so ill tell you"

"Tyler cheated on you? "He asked

"Seems like it" I said getting a little tense " i hoped this wasn't going to end like shit like my previous one but it did"

"Don't jump to conclusions" he said placing his hand on my shoulder "You should of heard his reason, instead of leaving....... well flying away"

"Previous incidents haunt me still ........i just don't want to be hurt once again Scott.......i had to get out of there" I explained feeling like shit

Scott was gonna ask on but choose it was best not to push the subject anymore. So he just hugged me trying to ease my pain.

"In my opinion I don't think he cheated on you, but that's not my concern right now, I'm gonna you smile before you head back tomorrow"

"Thanks..." I said sniffling, holding back my tears
