Rogers walked back into the station, covered in now dry paint still holding Kassidy's shoe in his hand. Weaver looked at him and held in a laugh.

"That was quite a break Rogers." He said. "What happened to you?"

"Cole." Rogers said and narrowed his eyes. "This was meant for you, in case you were wondering."

"Oh, I have no doubt about that." Weaver chuckled. "You see, I took Kassidy's skateboard just the other day. Kassidy doesn't like it when people take her things. So, I'd be returning that shoe if I were you."

"Not a bloody chance. She wants it, she can come get it." Rogers snapped.

"That's not going to happen."

"Oh. It will, because if she doesn't come get it by tomorrow afternoon, I am going to turn the heights upside down until I find her and I will drag her in here kicking and screaming and throw her in a holding cell where she belongs." Rogers said. Another officer chuckled.

"You poor soul. You don't know Kassidy." He muttered.

"Is everyone but me afraid of this girl?" Rogers asked.

"No one is afraid of her Rogers, We all just have better things to do with our time than chase around Kassidy Cole." Weaver said. "Christ, She's already drove you mad. Just give the girl her shoe back and let it go."

"No, What I am going to do now is I am going to go home, and take a shower and try to get all this bloody paint off of me." He said and waved Kassidy's shoe. "And I'm taking this with me. I'll be back if she comes looking for it tell her to wait and I will gladly bring it to her." Rogers said and walked out of the station.

Kassidy waited until it was safe to leave Roni's before she started making her way "Home." Detective Rogers was no where in sight. Now she was down a skateboard, and a shoe. She sighed and slipped her foot out of her other shoe so she wouldn't be walking uneven and turned the corner and bumped into Weaver. She grinned. He just gave her a look.

"Hey, at least you didn't get the paint. It was intended for you."

"Getting a little bold don't you think?" Weaver asked.

"I've always been bold. Got my skateboard?" She asked.

"No. You know that's not how this works." He said. Kassidy rolled her eyes.

"You're lucky its me you ran into and not Rogers or you'd be in handcuffs." Weaver said

"How is my new favorite Detective?" Kassidy asked.

"A little calmer after getting all the paint out of his hair, but still ready to throttle you." He said and looked down at Kassidy's bright purple socks.

"I know you're a stubborn one, but are you really going to walk around without shoes?" Weaver asked.

"Unless you can convince Detective Charming to give me back my glass slipper.. yes." Kassidy smirked.

"Nope, hes pretty adamant that you come and get it yourself." Weaver sighed.

"Yeah, that's not going to happen. I heard what he said to Roni, and I know exactly what he meant by throwing in a place to sleep for a night or three."

"You really think you're going to be able to avoid him for much longer? This man is not me. I let you get away with a lot that I shouldn't. You wont find that with him, Hes determined and hes digging around for information about you."

"So what did you tell him?" Kassidy asked.

"To stop looking, but He wont, and hes a damn good detective so if there is anything to be found, he will find it, just like he will find you." Weaver smiled.
