A/N: Have some angst.

Kassidy stood in front of a burn barrel dropping page after page of Detective Rogers file on her into the flames and watching them burn. There was no telling how much of it he actually read. Its not like she was a wanted criminal there were just things in her past that she preferred to leave there and how he found them, she had no clue. She dropped the rest of the files into the burn barrel and sat down with his computer erasing his entire hard drive. She'd give the computer back if he asked for it, but now it would be completely useless to him. She put the laptop back into her backpack and made her way to Roni's

"Beer me." Kassidy said as she slid onto the stool in front of the bar.

"Uh. No. You're 19." Roni said and handed her a coke instead. Kassidy grumbled but sipped at the coke anyways.

"What have you been up to today?" Roni asked.

"I Stole Detectives computer, and a file he had on me. I also took his clothes while he was showering."

"Jesus Kass." Roni sighed. "How much longer do you think I can protect you from him? You stole from him."

"I'm giving it back." Kassidy said and shrugged.

"That doesn't matter Kassi, you took it and he  Is going to crucify you." The door to the bar slammed open.

"COLE!" Rogers Boomed. Kassidy quickly climbed over the bar and ducked down behind it. Rogers Marched over to the bar and leaned over it glaring down at her.

"Outside." He growled. Kassidy grinned at him.

"Neutral ground?"

"Now!" He barked. Kassidy stood up and walked around the bar and kicked a stool down in front of him and took off. Rogers kicked the stool aside and bolted out the door after her.

"I swear to God Cole I will fucking tase your ass Stop running!" He shouted after her. Kassidy stopped and held out her backpack.

"Its in here." She said. Rogers took the backpack and opened it making sure the laptop was in there before setting it down.

"Where are the files?" He asked.

"I burned them.." Kassidy said and shrugged.

"Against the wall." He said.

"I gave it back. Just let me go." She said. Rogers glared and pushed her against the wall.

"Thats okay Detective, I like it rough." She smirked.

"Shut your mouth Cole." He said and moved her arms up

"Hands on your head." He instructed. Kassidy put her hands on her head and Rogers ran his hands all over her patting her down.

"What the fuck are you doing?" She asked.

Not that I mind. She thought

"Checking you for weapons." He said.

"Why?" Kassidy asked.

"Because I'm arresting you." Rogers said.

"But I gave it back!" Kassidy whined.

"That doesn't change the fact that you stole it. I am not Weaver, I'm not just going to lecture you and give you a slap on the wrist." He said and moved her arm down behind her back.

"Stop!" She shouted and mule kicked him in the knee.

"Fuck!" He groaned. Kassidy ran. Rogers growled and staggered to his feet chasing after her. She climbed up a fire escape to an apartment building He climbed after her.

"Kassidy just stop!" He shouted after her She jumped and pulled herself up onto the roof of the building.

"Christ." Rogers mumbled before he did the same Now there was no where for Kassidy to go. Kassidy backed up to the edge of the roof. Rogers approached her slowly with his hands out His eyes softened.

"Kassidy, just stop." He repeated.

"I'm not going to jail." Kassidy said.

"Okay. Just get off the ledge. Please." He said stepping forward.

"Stop!" She said. Gone was the sarcastic smile, and the mischief in her eyes It was replaced by fear.

Rogers stopped

"Alright, I'll stop. just come here." He said and gestured for her to step forward. She shook her head.

"I wont arrest you. We can just talk. Okay? but you have to get off the ledge." Rogers said and took one more step forward. Kassidy stepped back thinking she had more space and lost her footing

"Kassidy!" Rogers shouted as she fell. She screamed. Rogers Dove towards the ledge and grabbed her Arm as she went over the side of the building. He looked down at her dangling over the side. If she fell there would be nothing left of her. He reached out his other hand.

"Grab my other hand Kassidy." He said. She swung herself a little and grabbed his hand.

"Good...Good. I'm going to pull you up now." He said and used all of his strength to pull her back onto the roof. Her eyes were wide and tears were streaming down her face and she was trying to breathe. Rogers protective mode kicked in and he pulled her close.

"Hey.. you're okay." He said. "Look at me." He said. Her gray eyes found their way to his blue ones.

"You are safe." He said.
