Chapter 36: Forgotten

It was dark by the time we got home the living room light was on so I figured they were up, we walked in and that's when it all went to hell.

"Shawn?" I heard Cameron say as we walked in. There they were Shawn and Camila, snuggled up on the couch together sleeping. I felt my heart caving in as I just stood there and stared at them. I watched Cameron shake Shawn awake, he woke up and jumped when he saw all of us standing there, I stood there speechless.

"Oh hi guys when did you get back?" 

"Just now, I can see you and Camila sure got comfy while we were gone." Autumn said distastefully to Shawn who stared at her wide eyed.

"We fell asleep watching a movie if that's what you mean Autumn. Plus we are only friends i'm with Isabelle remember."

"Yeah, Shawn you are, so why don't you stop messing around with her and maybe start being a boyfriend to her." Autumn said getting in Shawn's face, I had never seen her do anything like this before.

 It was surprising.

"What the hell Autumn I'm not messing around with anyone, god!" Shawn screamed at her, which only added fuel to the fire that was Autumn's rage.

"You say that now."

"What is your deal Autumn? Huh?"  

"I think Camila is fake, and not who she says she is, not to mention she's so hung up on you it's disgusting." Shawn scoffed at her and waved her off.

"Camila is nothing but a friend to me, and she's not fake. She's one of the most sane people here!" Now that hurt. I was better than I was months ago, couldn't he see that? What was wrong with me.

"If she's nothing but a friend. Then why are you sitting here shouting at me defending her?" Autumn asked Shawn, for a moment he stayed quiet, I didn't bother staying to hear what else they had to say. Instead I listened to a song Claire had wrote me and sent the track to me whenever I needed to clear my mind.

The song was called Ember:

" Isabelle?" I shut off the music, and walked to the door. I open it to see Camila, shocked I allowed her to come in.

"Yes, Camila?" 

"Well I heard, what happened with Shawn, and I'm sorry if our RELATIONSHIP got in the way of yours." I looked at her in shock as my heart sank to my stomach.

"What do you mean?"

"Oh i'm guessing Shawn didn't tell you, he and I just released our song together and we are going to be touring around soon for his Handwritten tour. Did you not know that?" 

"No, I didn't." Camlia stood there in a mocking manner. Tapping her chin suggestively.

"That's fine, I guess after all I am Shawn's only sane friend not to mention the only person he really cares for I just assumed he would tell you but that wasn't the case." 

"What do you mean that Shawn only cares for you." She smirked knowing she had gotten under my skin.

"I am Shawn's best friend, and it's only natural for him to fall for me eventually." I only stared at her in shock.

"Your wrong, Shawn would never do that to me." Camila only taunted me further.

"Who wants to be with some stupid depressed girl that tries to kill herself every six months?" 

"He loves me!"

"No he loved you. Past tense sweetie he's forgotten all about you. I mean you've been gone for an hour and he hasn't once even came to check on you."I shook my head at her refusing to believe she was right.

"Shawn is not going to leave me for you!" I said with all of my hope and faith in Shawn backed up by the statement. Camila smiled.

"Face it Isabelle you've been replaced. Shawn doesn't want you anymore, so get used to rejection, because even though your nice, and you look okay compared to me you are nothing. You never will be." 

"Your wrong." She only smirked.

"I guess we shall see." Camila left my room closing the door after her, leaving me dazed and confused I could hear Shawn and Camila's laughter from down stairs, it got me thinking, maybe Camila was right.

I shook the thought from my mind as I went down stairs, in the living room, and there Shawn and Camila were laughing. Shawn turned and saw me standing there, getting up out of his seat he walks over to me a smile on his face made my heart warm up. Then he opened his mouth, and my heart fell.

"When did you get here Isabelle?"He didn't even know I was here for the fight between him and Autumn. I only stared at him stupidly, before I stepped away from him and walked outside into the dark. 

Shawn never followed me, he never called out for me to stop. It made me think again about what Camila had said to me.

Maybe I was forgotten.

Sorry this chapter was a little later than usual, I had a harder time writing this one then any of the others lol.

We are getting so close to the end of this book, but I do have amazing news. I will be writing a sequel to this book.

So don't worry Isabelle and Shawn's journey isn't over yet.
