Prompt #16: Changes eye color with some contact lenses

Jerome's PoV:

Amelia really took after Ryan. In the sense of becoming addicted to anime and manga. One year for Christmas, he gave her some of his old books, and she took a real shining to them.

Next weekend, we're taking her to her first convention, and she's been working on a cosplay. I have no clue who the girl is, but the outfit looks amazing, and she made it herself.

The only thing about it that made me uneasy was the contact lenses. The girl she was dressing as had neon green eyes, and she's been wearing the lenses around the house to get used to them.

"Daddy! I need some help!" I heard her call, and I sighed. She probably needs me to safety pin something on her outfit. I went into the other room, and there she was in front of the mirror, fretting over some area on her shoulder.

I grabbed a safety pin, and hooked the area, making sure it was tight. She turned and smiled at me, and I jumped, making the mistake of looking her dead in the eye.

"Geez Amelia, you're gonna give me a heart attack with those things" I muttered
