Prompt #23: Responds to 'sperm donor wanted' ad to get extra cash

Jerome's PoV:

I was skimming through the local newspaper, bored. Ryan was working, the kids were at school, and the housework was done. Surprisingly there wasn't too much to do today, usually I'm cleaning until at least 1:00.

But here I am, 11:00 AM, and sitting at the dining room table. I looked around the house and sighed quietly. I felt bad. I mean, Ryan quit YouTube to start bringing in a steady income, but we were still scraping along.

I couldn't just leave my fans, and Minecraft. It was a part of my life I just wasn't ready to let go of yet. And we still got a pretty decent paycheck every month for my videos. I'd already pre-recorded some videos yesterday to put up today, so I legitimately had nothing to do.

My eyes landed on the classifieds section, and I scanned the rows, looking for anything to make some quick cash. Then I did a double take.

$400 for being a sperm donor? And all I had to do was pass an interview by the surrogate parents. I called the number, and set up an appointment for 1.

I walked out of the building with a grin on my face, and my wallet full. I passed the interview with flying colors. Rainbow to be exact. Turns out it was a lesbian couple, and we clicked instantly. I told them about Ryan, and the twins, and we spent about a half hour just conversing.

Then I went to the place where you , urm, donate, and then I was done.

Ryan's gonna be so happy!
