Prompt #25: Gambling debt collectors threaten his young children

Ryan's PoV:

"I'll have the money by next week, I promise." I bluffed, scared.

"This is your last chance, McNulty. The boss is getting real tired of waiting for that money." The man said, pulling the flap of his suit jacket back to reveal a gun.

"Would be a real shame if something happened to those kids 'a yours." He chuckled lowly and I gulped.

"You won't touch them!" I protested shakily. He just shook his head, and turned to walk away, waving slightly over his shoulder.

I got into my car and laid my head on the steering wheel. I'm so fucked! Why did I start gambling? And now my family is gonna deal with the repercussions!

I don't want to...but I have to tell Jerome. And I may need to borrow some money from my parents.
