Chapter 30

~~Logan's P.O.V~~

After my shoulder was wrapped up I decided to try figure out what Deceit mean since he left before he could answer our questions.

I look over at Patton, he hasn't said a word since getting the first aid kit, this is unusual for him.

"Patton?" I ask, he must have 'zoned out' because jumped at me speaking.

"Yeah?" I snapped back into his normal mode of happy but right now it was between that and sad.

"Is something wrong?" I ask with sympathy.

"Nope." I hate it people are lying.

"You know, you can tell us if something is wrong." Thomas enters the conversation.

"Nothing is wrong..." he seems really down.

"We can tell you are lying, that's a bad idea since he is around now." I say seriously. "You are Thomas' morality, if you begin lying then who knows what could happen."

"Fine, I saw Virgil..." his words stunned me, he saw him?

I realise I had been staring at him so I stopped and snapped out of it.

"When." Is all Thomas said.

"When I went to get the kit."

"Did he show himself?" I ask, just beating Thomas.

"Yes."

"Why?"

Patton began playing with his cardigan, he was obviously nervous.

"I couldn't find one so he stepped in and have it to me..."

"Did he sound weird?" I ask, Thomas didn't know what you say next.

"Yeah, almost like static."

"Oh shit." I say aloud followed by a "Language!" from Patton and a "Spanish!" from Thomas.

"This is not the time for word association games!" I say quickly.

"Sorry." They both say in unison.
