Once the boat docked, they walked onto the island. "Boots, the same rules apply here. This is the second largest and second richest island in the world." Boots nodded and smiled while walking alongside Molly and Derek. "Our hotel is near the dock, so we shouldn't have to walk too far. It's night anyway." Boots nodded but then realized something.

" He will give him a very expensive hotel with two bedrooms and two bathrooms."

There are only two bedrooms and three people. Probably because Derek told them that Boots was his girlfriend, so they shouldn't have a problem with sleeping in the same room. "We're here." Derek opened the door to their hotel room and allowed Molly and Boots to walk in first. "Okay, Boots and I will get dressed in this room while Derek gets dressed in that room!" Molly said. She grabbed Boots' wrist and pulled her into the room, locking the door from behind. "Okay, Boots. This is like a vacation, so of course, I packed some adorable pajama's!" She quickly tossed Boots a set of PJ's and the changed.

Boots looked at Molly and laughed. Her hair was in a messy bun while she wore soft black shorts and a pink Venice Beach shirt with a pair of grey monster slippers "What?" She pointed to the slippers and Molly looked at them. "I thought they were pretty cute." Boots shrugged and noticed Molly looking at her as if she was holding back a laugh. "What?" Molly smiled and replied, "Your socks!" Boots looked down and sighed. She wore a ponytail with a loose braid trailing across on side of her head. She had a pastel green tank top with white shorts and knee-high black cat socks. "You're the one who gave them to me and told me to wear them."

Both of the girls walked out of the room and saw Derek in only black sweatpants. "Oh no." Boots turned slightly pink and turned around. She began to walk back to the room but Molly grabbed her and pushed her back the other way. "Hey, Derek! We're done getting dressed!" Molly shouted. Boots sighed in defeat and just stood next to Molly. Derek was sitting on the couch, scrolling through the TV. It was like he didn't hear them. "We don't have TVs on our island. Or phones. It's nice to see this sort of stuff." Derek said.

About an hour later, Derek fell asleep on the couch and so Boots and Molly slept in the rooms. When Molly woke up, she walked out of the room, seeing Boots running around in circles in the kitchen. In the kitchen was the largest candy station she has ever seen. They not have noticed it before.

Boots ran over and took one cookie from the cookie jar. Molly stared at her, amazed at how fast she got there. Boots finished that cookie and began to eat every piece of sugar she could find. Derek walked out of the shower, seeing Boots race across the entire kitchen and eat all the candy. Boots raced over to Molly and handed her a bunch of Sour Patch Kids. She then ran back to the kitchen and handed Derek a huge pile of plain sugar. "Oh. My. God." Derek said. He turned to Molly and asked her questions about what happened. "I don't know! I woke up and saw her like this!" Boots ran over to Derek and Molly again but was stopped by Derek. She automatically dropped everything and stared at Derek with her mouth open. "Your eyes are very pretty."

Derek chuckled. "I'm sorry, but can we keep her like this? It's really funny." Molly laughed. "Boots, what happened?" Boots looked over at Molly and smiled. "Well, I woke up a few minutes ago, smelled something, and ate it." Molly laughed and looked at Derek who was chuckling. "Molly, we have a party to go to soon! How is Boots going to go like this!?" Boots stood up. "I am not Boots! I am Candy!" Derek walked up to Boots and pointed at her.

"No, you are not Candy. You are Boots and you are my 'girlfriend'." Boots smiled. "I'm your girlfriend? Wow. I feel like a unicorn has just kicked me in the face and left a pile of glitter---Oh! Can we get a huge container of glitter!?" Molly stared at Boots and then Derek. She grabbed Boots' arm and pulled her into one of the rooms. "Go on ahead and get dressed, Derek!" She closed the door and focused on Boots. "Okay, Boots. You have to be on your best behavior if you want to go with Derek. If you are being bad then you will probably get hurt and Derek will never like you." Boots nodded and Molly handed Boots her a blue strapless dress that was short in the front and long in the back with a silver diamond belt. She also gave her a big loose braid. Then she put on her own outfit. A short pink silk dress and pink ribbon heels. She left her hair down and put on a pink flower crown.

"Sorry, I tried not to make you look like Cinderella." Boots looked up at Molly. "Is Cinderella pretty?" Molly nodded and Boots smiled. "Then, I want to look like Cinderella!" They walked out of the room and saw Derek in the same tuxedo he wore the day before. "Remember, Boots. Be on your best behavior." Molly repeated. Once they arrived at the place, they all walked over to Joseph's family. "Boots, Derek, this is Joseph. Joseph, this is Boots and Derek. He's a friend." Boots nodded and smiled. "It's nice to meet you!" Boots yelled. Molly and Joseph looked at her with wide eyes. Derek looked at Molly before speaking. "Molly, I'm going to go and find a way to fix this." Molly nodded and they left.

"Okay, what can fix you and turn 'Candy' back into 'Boots'?" He looked around and found lemon water. Maybe it'll help? They didn't seem to have normal water, so hopefully, this works. "Boo- I mean, Candy? Do you know if lemon water will help with this situation of ours?" Boots nodded slowly and Derek handed her the water. She slowly drank it and put the empty cup down on the table. Derek just stared at her, wondering if it worked. "Did it work?"

"Did what work?" Boots asked.

"The lemon water. I'm wondering if it calmed you down." Boots nodded and there was a small moment of silence. "So, did it work?" Boots' smile dropped. She tilted her head and stared at Derek confused. "Did what work?"

"The lemon water. I'm wondering if it calmed you down." Boots nodded and there was another small moment of silence. "So, did it work?"

"Did what work?" Derek sighed and face-palmed. Boots just laughed and walked over to Molly. Molly immediately spoke. "Are you okay now?" Boots nodded and Derek looked at her in disbelief. "Wait, so you listen to her but when it comes to me, you're completely confused!?" Boots giggled and they all began to talk to each other for almost an hour when Derek pulled Boots away. "Okay, Derek. What was so important that you had to pull me away?" Derek sighed and pulled out a necklace. "I just thought that maybe you would want this back."

"And you can have this necklace back. Maybe you can add someone else on there that you care about. Because I'm pretty sure that it isn't me." Boots raised her voice and threw the necklace at Derek. Boots' voice was very shaky at the last sentence and tears began to well up in her eyes.

Boots stared at the necklace before looking back at Derek. "Derek, I don't deserve it. That necklace is made entirely of diamonds, rubies, and gold. It's worth a fortune." Derek stared at her confused. "But it was made for you and I-" Boots ran her fingers through her hair before speaking. Molly immediately looked at Boots, worryingly. "The necklace was made for me? Really? Because I remember you saying that it was supposed to be for Ava, but you added me to it because I supposedly 'meant something to you'. The girl that you met thirteen days ago, meant something to you when you really only knew her for 8 days. I'm betting that you only cared about me because of who my sister is. Thanks for the offer, but I don't need a liar to give me a gift that was meant for someone else." Boots was about to walk off when Molly stopped her.

"Boots, you can't leave Derek. It's against the rules. Just don't speak to him. You don't even have to look at him. Just follow him. Please." Boots looked down and sighed before hugging Molly. Boots walked over to Derek and looked at the floor. Derek looked at Boots and walked over to the hallway, where no one else was at. "Why do you hate me all of a sudden?" Boots looked up with eyes that seemed to have a very faint glow of red. "Maybe because you lie all the time? I'm sure you never lied to Ava." Derek stared at her confused. "Why do you always compare yourself to Ava?" Boots looked down and sighed. "Maybe because she was my sister and you knew her personally? And because you probably treated her differently than me? Oh, and because if she never existed, I would be somewhere in the ocean because you would have sent me away to die!"

"I'm sorry. You can hate me all you want, but don't say things when you aren't sure of it." Derek walked back over to Molly with Boots following closely behind. "Derek, just a little thing that you should know about Boots, whenever she runs her fingers through her hair, she's going to blow up. But, feeding her sugar prevents that from happening." Molly smiled and Derek stared at her sternly. "I am not feeding her anything with sugar in it." The party finally ended and everyone went home. When they got home, Molly immediately throughout all of the sugar. "Okay, now that that's out of the way, what do we do now?" Everyone thought for a while, trying to figure out what they would do. "There's a nice dog park nearby that I think Boots would like. It has a trail that leads to the beach too. We would have to go there tomorrow though since it's getting too late." Derek said. Everyone agreed and Molly pulled Boots into the room before handing her a white and gold nightgown. Molly also got a pink 'nap' shirt and some grey sweatpants.
