"Molly! Wake up!" Boots shook Molly awake. "Boots, it's four in the morning. Go to bed." Boots shook her head and pulled Molly off of the bed. "I'm sorry that I woke you up, but one thing that you need to know about me is that I always wake up at this time." Molly pulled the blanket onto the floor and covered her face with it. "And why do I need to know that?" Boots sighed and crossed her arms. "Because I want you to watch the sunrise with me. Waking up at four in the morning is also the time that a true guard wakes up." Molly sighed in defeat and stood up with the blanket wrapped around her body. Boots smiled and they walked out. The apartment that they were staying in, had a huge window that had an amazing view. It was perfect for watching the sunrise. Once they walked out, Derek walked out at the same exact time, wearing nothing but sweatpants. "Derek, why are you up so early?" Molly asked. Derek shrugged. "Four in the morning is the time that a true guard wakes up. Why are you girls up so early?" Molly looked next to her, where Boots was standing, only to find no one there. She looked around the room until she spotted her at the window, staring at the sunrise. "Boots dragged me out of bed to go watch the sunrise. She says she always wakes up at this time." Derek nodded and looked towards Boots.

He walked up to her and places his hand on her shoulder. Boots tensed up slightly but gave in quickly. Molly just dropped the blanket and slowly reached for the camera. "Boots, I know that you are still mad at me, but please forgive me. I didn't mean to make you mad or upset." Boots just giggled and looked at Derek with a smile. "Derek, calm down. It was my fault, not yours. I shouldn't have snapped back at you. You did nothing wrong. I'm sorry." Derek looked at her confused but decided not to argue. Instead, he looked towards the sunrise and took a breath. Boots did the same thing. "The sunrise is so beautiful." Boots continued to gaze in awe. Derek just looked at boots and barely smiled before looking back at the sunrise.

Almost immediately, Boots rested her head on Derek's shoulder but took it off soon after. She turned around and walked over to Molly. "Was that a good picture?" Molly nodded with a huge smile. "I should have known that I couldn't have taken the picture without you knowing." Boots smiled and took the camera, looking through it. She stopped at a picture of Derek staring at her. Molly noticed and smiled. "Look at the way he was looking at you, Boots! Awe! You guys are so adorable together!" Boots looked up at Derek and showed him the camera. His cheeks seemed to turn a very faint shade of pink. "Derboo!" After a while, Molly decided to go back to bed while Boots got dressed in Derek's room and Derek cooked breakfast. There was still a lot of time before it was morning for 'real people', but Derek decided to make breakfast anyways. Besides, they had to wake up in thirty minutes anyway.

Boots put on a tight black lace off the shoulder crop top with a white skater skirt and black flats. Molly put on a loose red crop top and black wait high swim shorts with white flats. She was just sitting at the table while Derek was cooking and wearing a light blue apron that said 'obey'. "Why light blue? And why obey?" Derek slightly smiled and replied. "Light blue is one of my favorite colors. And obey is just because people obey me a lot, so I thought it would be a little silly thing. Now can you go set the table? Breakfast is almost ready." Boots nodded. "Only because I must obey." Everyone ate before leaving to the dog park. Right away, Boots stared at the dogs with a smile on her face. "Boots, be careful. They hate people with abilities like us. If they find out what you can do, you're pretty much dead." Derek whispered. Boots nodded and continued to watch the dogs run around and play. One small ran up to Boots and started barking. Of course, Boots knew what he was saying. "Hello! My name is Cooper!" Boots crouched down and pet Cooper while quietly barking back. "Hello, Cooper. My name is Boots. I'm a zoolingualist but I need you to keep it a secret, okay? You can tell other animals, but they have to be quiet too, or else they'll kill me." Cooper tilted his head and did a small nod before running off to tell other animals.
