Shawn's POV

"Oh honey, I'm sorry that your brother had to cut your trip short, but come again soon. Love you kids, stay safe." My Aunt Claire glared at me while Aaliyah fakes smiled at her.

"Alright Aunt Claire, bye now!" I yelled as we walked away.

She shut her door and we ran down the driveway laughing. We made it to my car and we got in.

"Your aunt looked like she was about ready to beat you up." Jen laughed. Such a beautiful sound.

"Oh trust me she was not happy that he came to pick me up, you guys were quick too." Aaliyah said putting on her seatbelt.

"Yeah, your brother wanted to go eat and do a few things before picking you up. I told him we should come get you first, you're the better Mendes anyways." She laughed while I put on a hurt face.

"Oh you asshole!" She yelled. Jen laughed even more while I reached at Aaliyah to tickle her for saying that.

"Anyways Aaliyah this is my girlfriend Jen, Jen this is my sister Aaliyah." We smiled at her.

"How did you get stuck with my brother?" We laughed.

"He isn't bad at all, a very great boyfriend."

"Just like how he's a great brother. Don't mess it up Shawn!"

"I'd be an idiot to wouldn't I?" I laughed while looking at Jen, her beautiful eyes. I could get lost in those eyes.

"So what are we gonna do?" Aaliyah asked as we drove off.

"I'm gonna drop you off while we go out." I said, joking, unfortunately.

"No!" Jen yelled playfully hitting my forearm. "We're going back to your house and spending the day watching movies."

"Wow Shawn, you wouldn't want to include your own sister." She puts her hand over her heart.

"How am I suppose to get some with my sister present?"

"You won't be getting anything for the rest of the day." She said facing the window.

"Okay sure I won't." I laugh.

*Later That Night*

"C'mon just one kiss!" I whine. Jen hasn't kissed me since the car ride and it's killing me.

"You heard what I said in the car! Not another kiss!" She shouted while we were in the kitchen making more snacks.

She wasn't budging, but I knew what to do to make her kiss me again.

I began kissing her jawline and neck, she tensed up, that let me know it was affecting her.

I move her sleeve over to get better access to her shoulder and I hear her shudder, trying not to let any sound escape her mouth.

"So about that kiss?" I whisper to her lowly.

"Oh screw it." She smashed her lips on mine, wrapping her arms around me neck.

Trust me, I was loving this. I had to pull away because I knew my sister could walk in on us at any moment and she would get all embarrassed.

"I really don't like you sometimes babe." She laughs.

"Well I really love you baby." Oh fuck.

"I- I- I- I m-mean you know I j-j-just really like you. F-fuck please don't leave I-I didn't mean to scare you of-"

"I love you too." She said it, she really fucking said it.

"What?"

"I love you. Maybe it's too soon, maybe it's not. You've been the best person to me, my family and I could never ask for anyone better."

"HOLY FUCK MY BABY LOVES ME!" I yell. I pick her up and spin her around.

"What are you guys doing?" Aaliyah comes into the kitchen.

"She loves me! She really fucking love me! Holy fucking shit!" They laugh. I start running around the kitchen still not believing she actually loves me.

"Okay I'm going to my room. Night Shawn. Goodnight Jenny." She hugs Jen.

"Shawn you need to calm down you really do."

"I love you." I look down at her smiling.

"I love you too honey." We kiss.

Nothing could ruin this, nothing could ruin us. At least that's what I thought...
