Jen's POV

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

"You've got to be kidding me..." I say as I pushed stop on my alarm. It's barely the second day of school and I'm already over this. Hopefully, I just have to take Jess to school because I need a break from all these kids. I still love them though.

I get up from my bed grabbing my phone to turn on some music while getting ready for school. I decided to listen to 'Down Girl' by Roy Woods, I've really been into this song lately.

I was brushing my teeth when I was getting a call from Jess, I'm guessing she wanted a ride.

"Helyo" I said while still brushing your teeth. Yuh can't exactly talk right with a brush all up in your mouth.

"Hey bitch you giving me a ride today or what?" She asked. I put water in my mouth, wash it around, then spit it out.

"Yeah, you know I always give you a ride."

"Yeah well I was wondering if you could give Noah a ride too please?"

"What happen to his car?"

"It broke down yesterday so it's in the shop today. So can you?"

"How are you getting home after school?"

"I was hoping you could maybe come back and pick us up..." Great just great.

"I'm just gonna stay at school cause I don't feel like driving back there after two hours." I say walking over to my closet to pick out my clothes.

"Thank you, that's why you're my favorite cousin!"

"I hate you."

"I love you too see you soon bye!" She hung up. Whatever I'll just stay on the library and try to finish up homework, yeah barely the second day of school and we already have homework, senior year is just great! Not.

I decided to put on black jeans, a light blue tank top, and a navy blue sweater. Who am I trying to impress right? I go back into my bathroom to brush my hair out, fill in my eyebrows, put in mascara, and put in my contacts.

After finishing I grab my bag and walk downstairs, to see Alma eating with Lana and my dad, while my mom is cooking. Oh how I love seeing my family all happy in the morning.

"Good morning guys." I say sitting at the table. I don't really eat breakfast.

"Hola mija." My mom said, while everyone else was quiet, that's weird.

"What's going on?" I said because this is way too weird for my family, we always talk.

"Your dad and I want to have an alone night so can you maybe spend the night at your Tia's." My mom asked. I knew what this meant, my parents have always been... sexually active. But last time I accidentally walked in on them which I why they want me to leave the house. Yes, it was traumatizing. (A/N: True story😭)

" Yeah that's fine I'll just stay with Jess and Tia Erika."

"You're staying with me?" Jess says when she walked in.

"Si mija nomas por la noche." My mom assured her. {Translation: Yes honey only for the night}

"Okay well I'm gonna go pack my bag real quick."

I run upstairs just taking what I need, I hope I don't forget anything cause I won't be able to come back. We quickly leave after to pick up Noah and go straight to school.

We pull up at school, Noah and Jess immediately get out because they want to hang out a bit before class starts. I, on the other hand, stay back a bit because I want to relax. I relax for about 10 minutes before I hear an engine next to my car, which made turn my head to see who it is... Shawn.
