Vic’s POV

My room was a mess. I had clothes, books and glass all over the floor. My hiccups were the only sound that echoed through the four walls that contained me. My eyes were red, swollen and had tears pouring from them. I told myself multiple times that I should just stop crying. But I just couldn’t.

91.3 days.

 

It had been 91.3 days.

I wiped my face with the back of my jumper sleeve, but only for the newly dried area to be dampened again. I walked back and forth in the small space I had, pulling at my hair, and whispering insults at myself.

I wasn’t sure how long I had before someone found me in here. Someone was bound to hear it. I had thrown the lamp across the room, pulled the chandelier from the ceiling, pushed over my book shelf from behind, taken the mirror out from the wall in the bathroom, punched it and smashed it on the floor. I pulled my clothes from the dresser and threw those on the floor too. All while crying and screaming at the person I wish was here with me. And I couldn’t do what usually calmed me down, since I shattered my iPod and it was in pieces on the floor. I just sat there in the glass in the middle of my room, rocking back and forth.
