Chapter 30

*Three months later*

• Jacob P.O.V •
Kailia has been very sick these past three months. I know she's pregnant but I feel bad because she is always throwing up or is in pain and I don't know what to do....I have no clue how to help her. Everyone knows she's pregnant and they were happy, especially her mom and Blaine. We don't know if we're having a boy or girl and we want to find out soon so we can get everything ready for the baby. We're gonna go to the doctors when she is five months pregnant so we will know the gender. I'm excited to be a dad, I've wanted to have a kid with Kailia for a while now but we had a lot going on at the time. I'm more of the worried one right now...wanting to make sure everything is perfect making sure Kailia eats healthy even though she want ice cream and McDonald's half the time. I love her and I'm gonna love my child!!

• Kailia P.O.V •
I'm getting dressed so I can go to the store, I'm feeling a little better today so why not go now.

I walk downstairs and Jacob runs up to me (*Are you okay?? Do you need anything? Where are you going*) he asks (*Im going shopping with all of you so let's go*) I said grabbing my car keys and going outside. I wait in the car for about five minutes then I finally see everyone come outside (*Emma Ava Justin Noah and Alex take a different car*) Jacob says getting in and locking all the doors making me laugh (*Take my dads car*) I say (*Blaines*) Noah asked (*Yeah*) I nod. Jacob smiles like a doofus as I pull out of the driveway.

We were all looking around at Walmart....well me Emma Ava and Jacob are looking, everyone else is making toilet paper forts. I was getting baby bottles a car seat...stuff like that but not clothes yet because I don't know if it's a boy or girl. (*Excuse me miss*) I hear, I turn around to see a man looking at me

(*Can I help you*) I ask (*I saw you walk in with a group of people and one of them looks familiar to me*) he said (*Ok who*) I ask. He points to Ava who was looking at the baby food (*Her name is Ava*) I tell him (*Where is she from*) he asks (*Thats none of your business actually*) I said (*Look I don't know you but I want to know where she's from and if you don't tell me I'll—You'll What*) I cut him off getting even more angry. He raises his eyebrows and smirks (*You think you're tough*) he said with a chuckle, I feel anger boil up inside me making my eyes go red (*Are you What I think you are*) he asks in shock (*Get the fuck out now before I rip you apart!! And stay away from Ava*) I growl showing my fangs. (*Luke*) Ava and Jacob say walking over to him (*You know luke*) Jacob asks me (*No he just walked over being a dick and now I want to kill him*) I growl again. Jacob grabs my hand trying to calm me down (*I know luke from philly*) Ava said (*Yeah I met her at a restaurant and I was gonna talk to her the next day but she left Philadelphia*) he said (*you couldn't have told me that earlier*)I rolling my eyes. He laughs (*I guess that would have helped*) he said (*He's apart of my pack*) Jacob said (*Wait he's a...a ware wolf*) Ava asks surprised. They both nod and she walks away (*Wait Ava*) luke said following her (*the one day I get out of bed....this happens*) I sigh (*Its okay*) Jacob chuckled hugging me. (*I just wanna know.....what was Luke doing when he met her because I know he's lying about the restaurant thing*) he said. I look over and see Ava and Luke talking.....well arguing actually.

(*You can't tell her what I was doing that night*) I tell luke (*She'll find out one way or another.....Ava she's powerful...more powerful than she could ever know or handle*) he said. I roll my eyes and look at Kailia who was hugging Jacob (*What if they find her*) I sigh.....I can't let her get hurt.....I can't let them find her.
