Chapter 31

Ava has been spending a lot of time with Luke and Jacob has been acting like his usual self. He is constantly reading parenting books witch makes me laugh all the time. (*Tummy time is really good for your baby*) he tells me Reading the book (*I know*) I said as I was the dishes. (*Ohhh and there are a whole bunch of car seats that we can choose from. They are expensive but it's for our baby so I don't care*) he says. I turn around and look at him trying not to laugh (*What*) he asked looking at me (*Why...why do you have a pacifier in your mouth*) I giggle (*I'm making sure it won't hurt the baby*) I said taking it out of his mouth and setting it on the table. I laugh and walk over to him. I sit on his lap and hug him (*The baby will be perfectly fine with you as a dad*) I said pecking his lips (*I'm just making sure everything is perfect*) he said resting his hand on my lower back. I smile (*I know, that's how I know you'll be an amazing father to our baby*) I say making him smile and hug me. Ava and Luke walked in and sat in the couch (*Kailia I need to talk to you*) she said. I nod and kiss Jacob. She grabs my hand and takes me outside (*Promise me that you won't hate me and never talk to me again*) she sighs (*That depends on what you're about to tell me Ava*) I said (*Before we met I was in a lot of trouble with bad people....and....they would have me kidnap people and bring them to wherever they are at. They believed in vampires and werewolves....if the person had vampire or werewolf blood....they would kill them*) she said. (*Did you kill vampires too*) I ask (*No I didn't want to kill anyone. I stopped what I was doing and lost contact with them when we came to Virginia....they're looking for me and if they find out Jacob is a werewolf they'll kill him. You're pregnant....they wouldn't kill you they would keep your baby for there experiments*) she rolls her eyes. I feel myself getting angry (*They won't touch my child. They can have me but they can't have my baby or Jacob*) I said. She hugs me (*I never wanted this to happen*) she cries (*It's ok I'm not mad at you....if they show up I'll do what I have to*) I sigh.
