Chapter 41

(*Babe*) I yell from the kitchen (*Yeah*) Jacob asks as he watches TV in the living room (*Did you ever go to my moms and give her the gift I got her for her birthday*) I asked. He walks into the kitchen (*No*) he said, I sigh turning to look at him (*What, I told you a needed you to because I was busy taking care of vi*) I told him. He rolls his eyes at me and groans (*Well the guys were over for guys night so I was busy too*) he said (*Yeah being a stupid careless fuck*) I said walking away. We've been having problems cause we both have so much going on and it's stressful, he's been upset about work and I've been at home with violet cleaning and watching her. I know he's stressed but he's not the one taking care a little baby all alone....it's not at easy as he thinks.  (*Why are you so bitching lately*) he yells sitting on the couch making me stop in my tracks (*What did you just say*) I ask turning around (*Forget it*) he groans. Violet starts to cry from upstairs telling me she's up from her nap...probably cause Jacob yelled and woke the poor girl up. (*Oh cmon be quiet, she's so annoying some times*) he mumbles, I feel anger take over my body. I walk in front of him and grab his shirt pulling him off the couch (*Don't you ever say that to my baby again, you hear me. I'll end you in a second*) I growl knowing that I've turned. He doesn't say a word, just stares at me in shock. I push him out of my way and go upstairs. (*Shh baby it's ok mommy's here*) I whisper picking her up and sitting in the chair that's in her room. I look into her sparkling eyes and smile (*Wanna know a secret*) I ask, she starts to make baby noises letting me know that's a yes. (*Well, when mommy was little I used to be scared of cats*) I laugh (*I don't know why...they just scared me, anyway my best friend had two cats and one of them hated his guts. I would go over to his house and the cat would attack him which actually made me laugh like crazy.....but the other cat was a sweetheart she loved to be pet and loved having all the attention*) I said smiling thinking back at those memories (*Anyway, my fear of cats kinda went away as I got older but I don't think your dads has yet*) I think. I hear a deep laugh and I turn my head seeing Jacob leaning in the doorway. I sigh and stand up with violet in my arms (*What*) I ask still kissed off at him (*I'm sorry, I was an asshole for no reason. I love you and violet more than anything and I shouldn't have said that about you two*) he sighs grabbing my free hand. I look into his eyes and I can tell he's upset (*Its fine every couple has fights but don't you ever say that about our little girl again or you won't be breathing anymore*) I warn him. He laughs and kisses my forehead (*I love you both more that anything remember that*) he said.
