Hisake's P.O.V.

Anima is different. Training wasn't exactly the same with her panting alot. It was creepy....even more creepy than how she was being all harsh.
I stole a glance at her face, light blush tainted her cheeks as she panted.
What's wrong with her?
"Alright everyone, listen up!"
I turned my attention to General Shineki.
"There's been a few demons spotted a couple of miles from here. They're coming right for us. I want to guys to use these as a method of training and defeated those things!"
Demons...
Coming here!?
Everyone began to whisper around each other and I looked at Anima. She didn't looked pleased. Who would be? Imagine to try and get away from those things and yet everywhere you go, they follow you.
"We're going outside the institution so everyone get your gear and get ready!"
Everyone saluted and began marching towards the weapon room to the right of us.
---
I watched Anima stand in a corner, taking deep breathes and her eyes were closed. Taking a deep breathe of my own, I approached her.
"Are you alright?"
She looked up, blush still lingering on her cheeks, "I'm fine."
Sure you are.
"You don't look too well. Are you sure you're gonna be able to fight?"
"I've been in worse conditions."
I believe you 100%.
"Well alright, aren't you gonna pick a weapon?"
"Nothing interests me."
"Oh."
She's very picky when it comes to weaponry.
"Put it down."
I heard her say and followed her gaze to Iyato, my boyfriend. He glared at her as he held the gun in his hands.
"Why?"
"Demons can smell gun powder. You won't stand a chance."
She's reallyyyyyy blunt too.
"And how do you know this?"
I groaned, "It's obvious she used one before and it didn't work. Just put the gun down and pick up a katana."
"He doesn't do well in close combat. He's scared to get close to one of them." Anima commented and Iyato tensed.
"I'm not scared of those things." He said proudly and tossed the gun aside.
"Sure you're not."
I turned my attention back to Anima.
"How do you know he's scared?"
"His palms are sweaty. Beads of sweat are running down the sides of his face and he's breathing heavy. It's obvious."
I stole a glance at Iyato while he studied which katana to choose.
"Wow, you're really good." I looked back at her.
"He's need to calm down. Demons are like dogs, they can smell fear." She slowly licked her lips as she gazed at the floor sending a chill up my spine.
