Anima's P.O.V.

---

I watched from my window as Izumi got ready. It wasn't even 5 yet but he was up and ready to learn. I'm quite impressed. I watched him leave his room with his gear and decided it was time for me to leave as well. I left my room and made my way down to the gate where we both meet up.

I saw him rushing towards me obviously oblivious to the fact I was standing right there.

"Hey." I said making him jump and he looked up at me.

"H-Hey." He stuttered and I shook my head.

"Since you're here early, let's get to it, shall we?"

He nodded vigorously and I looked away from his eyes, studying the gear he had in his hands.

He's not gonna need all of that. But oh well, at least he came prepared. I like that.

"I can't really see anything."

"I can." I said as I began walking to around destination.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yeah. I lived by myself for a while so I got accustomed to moving around in the dark.

Half lie, half truth. I did live by myself for a while but it's only because of my insane vision that I'm able to see properly.

"That's so cool!" He chirped making me question training him.

He's like a little butterfly. Squeezed the wings and he's restrained. Pull them off, he dies. Training is not a thing I can see him doing. Especially my type of training.

"So how long did you live alone?"

"Seven years."

"Wow, no wonder you're so skilled. Must have been hard living alone in that deserted city huh?"

I shrugged, "Not really."

"How comes?"

"I like to be alone."

"Ahh, I see."

It got quiet for a few moments until he decided to ask another question.

"How old are you?"

In demon years or human? In demon years I would be 5. In human, I'll be 17.

"17."

"Wowww! That's so cool! I'm 19!"

I cringed at the exclaim.

"Are you always this loud?"

"Y-Yes. Sorry."

I sighed, "We're here."

"Where are we?"

I forgot he couldn't see.

"The field."

"You know the field is right by the generals' building right?"

"And?"

"Well, no one is suppose to out of their dorms before sunrise."

"The guards are, what's your point?"

I looked back at him and he scratched his head and bit his lip nervously, "Fair point."

"Thought so. Let's start with lesson one."

"But I can't see anything."

"That's the point. If a demon decides to attack in a dark place what are you gonna do? Run and search for a light switch?"
