The Wedding Day

(This is taking place like 8 months after everything when sht went down etc etc) 
pov Dave Strider
I look into my mirror letting out a lot sigh... today's the day... this is actually happening. You, Dave Strider are marrying the love of your life, Karkat Vantas.
I look over my red suit with a black collared shirt and a tie. I slick my smooth, blonde hair back and place my shades neatly into my face.
A shiver runs through my body and suddenly everything goes silent as fear creeps into my mind... what if he changes his mind, what if I trip, what if I mess up my vows..?!
I let out a mixed sob of distress before Dirk is by my side along with Jake.
"Hey bro you alright? You should be getting excited... it's the biggest day of your life after all!"
Dirk grips onto my shoulders giving me a smile into the mirror.
"I'm just... really nervous... what if Karkat regrets the choice he made? What if I mess up my vows or trip or something?? I want this day to be perfect for him... He's my everything."
"Don't worry about it mate. Dirk was just as scared on our wedding day... except he was puking."
"J-Jake!!"
I hear the two let out a laugh which causes me to smile.
"You have nothing to worry about. I'm sure Karkat is just as nervous as you are. Just stay confident. Us lovers find it very attractive when you striders act all high and mighty."
I burst out laughing hearing this and see Dirk slip his shades down sending a wink in Jake's direction causing him to blush.
"Ok... I thi- I know I'm ready. I Dave Strider, am going to marry Karkat Vantas today."
I give Dirk and Jake one last hug before they exit the room getting ready to head to their spaces.
pov Karkat Vantas
"Karkat Dear, Just Breathe. Everything's Going To Be Ok."
"I c-can't Kanaya im flipping my shit over here. What if he has regrets?? What if I do something wrong? What if I look weird?"
Kanaya lets out a laugh as I'm pacing back and forth trying to catch my breath.
"It's Alright. Last Time I Checked Dave Purposed To You. I Know For A Fact ThAt Young Man Loves You And That You Love Him. Realize How Important This Day Is To You And What Kind Of Future This Will Give The Two Of You."
I give Kanaya a smile before embracing her into a warm hug.
I check myself in the mirror looking over to a black suit, with a red under shirt and a tie.
The red wasn't my favorite but it was to also simbolize how Dave taught me to not only love him, but to love myself for my blood color and everything.
After Kanaya peeks her head at the door she slowly opens it and I see a ready to go Cronus to walk me down the aisle.
Since my dad wasn't really here and I've also seen him as the type of 'dad I never had' I had asked him if he'd do the honors of stepping in for my father in which he gladly accepted that is of course after Kankri, his husband *also my brother* had a long rant to him about what to do and what not to do.
Kanaya rushes out the door and I walk over to Cronus and he wrapped his arm around mine before we slowly exited the room...
Here we go...
The two of us approached the aisle and all eyes turned over to me... I looked around seeing old friends and new friends...
I tried holding back tears as we continued to walk forward and I looked up to see Dave smiling at me causing me to blush... Even after all this time he always knows how to make me happy.
Cronus lets go of my arm and steps aside as I walk up the three steps meeting my soon to be husband face to face.
"We're now ready for the vows, Mr.Strider if you'd like to go first."
I look up to see Dave slowly take his shades off before handing them to Dirk and he looks me right in the eyes causing my heart to fly out of my chest as I look into his crimson red eyes.
"Karkat Vantas..." The sounds of my name slowly leaving his lips causes a shiver to leave my body.
"We've been dating for more than 3 years. And for all of those three years my whole universe has revolved around you. I enjoyed every moment I got to kiss you, snuggle with you, hug you, or even be near you. I love the way you use your rude nicknames on me when I truly know they're meant to be sweet. The way you admire the eyes that I once hated. You taught me how to love. And in return I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to be there for you when you're going through rough times or need a shoulder to cry on. I love you more than words could ever say." I see Dave wipe a tear away from his eye as he continues to look in mine and I continue to try to hold myself together attempting to not just start crying in front of everyone.
"Mr.Vantas, if you'd like to speak."
"Dave... You're more than I could ever ask for. You picked me up when I was in the darkest moments of my life and made me feel like a somebody. You had patience with me even when I got upset and just called it cute making me even more mad. The day I first told you I loved you 8 months ago... I was scared of you hating me for it. You taught me how to love myself for the way I am and I'm forever grateful. I love the way you smirk at me even though it makes me so enraged. Being near you still gives me butterflies. You're always so sweet and gentle with me and that means so much... You're like the perfect romcom I've always wanted. And I know I'm trying so hard not to cry right now in front of everybody but I couldn't ask for it in any other way. You gave me my everything... Dave you are my everything. I want to start a family with you, grow old with you, and sooo much more. I... I loved you yesterday and I love you so much more today and there will be so much more love for me to give you tomorrow..."
At this point the two of us were both crying as I finished my vows.
"David Elizabeth Strider, do you take Karkat Vantas to be you husband?"
"I do."
My eyes gleam with happiness as I hear the two words leave his mouth that I've waited for my whole entire life.
"Karkat Vantas, do you take Dave Strider to be your husband?"
"One hundred million fucking times yes."
Dave picks up the ring sitting on the cushion and gently slips it onto my finger and I take the other golden ring and slip it onto his finger as tears slowly fall down my face.
"You may now kiss."
Dave pulls me into his warm embrace before our lips meet and there's tons of cheering from all of our friends in the background.
We pull apart and all I can do it look into his eyes and smile/slilently sob at the same time.
"Well... Welcome to the family Karkat Strider." I hear Dirk say from beside Dave and I jump up into Dave's arm craving more of his touch.
Dave continues to laugh as he hugs me back.
"Yeaa... it's a shame I won't be able to call you Karkat Vantass anymore... but I won't let the name change stop me."
I hear the two laugh as Dave sets me down and I roll my eyes. Dave and I exit the aisle heading towards our friends.
I give Dave a peck on the lips realizing he's mine and I'm his...
Dreams really do come true...

A/N yEeT damn that story was cute and I enjoyed writing it. Hope you liked part two!! I just uploaded chapter two of my book the other day so you guys should go check it out!! I don't know when part three will be up but it should be soon :) I love you all sooo very much and thanks a ton for all this support!! (That moment when you realize you left out a huge detail and you have to go back a re-edit a whole section of the story... GoD dAmMaT)
