I made it home just fine last night and went to bed.
oOoOo The Next Day oOoOo
I wake up to pounding on the front door. I look over at my clock and see that it's five in the morning. Is it the police or something? I quickly jump to my feet and brush out my knotted hair as I make my way down quickly. I set the brush to the side as I see Leo come out of his room and rush to the front door.
I quickly unlock it and open the door as the suns bright light greets me so I have to put my arm over my eyes to see who it is. It's my last dad. The one who threw a beer bottle at my head. I quickly go stone-faced and go to close the door but he catches it. I open it and look at him.
"What do you want and how do you know where I live?"
"I have my sources and I don't want anything from you, I bought some of the stuff you weren't able to take with you before." He says motioning to his car.
Leo comes up beside me.
"We got a problem?" Leo says noticing me tense around my old dad.
"No. I am Beth's old father nice to meet you." He says holding out his hand.
Leo crosses his arms.
"Alright then. I just brought some stuff Beth had to leave behind. I wanted to give it back." He says walking back to his car and motioning for us to follow.
Leo walks out first and I follow after him. As we walk out we see a truck with my motorcycle in the back. He also goes to the back door of the truck and pulls out a box which I can see is filled with my motorcycle gear. I walk up a little quicker and he hands it to me. He then hands me another box on top of that which is a bit smaller and piles on the one I already have.
I look in disbelief at him and what is going on as Leo turns to me from my bike. Bryan closes the door and goes to the back next to my motorcycle, opening the bed of the truck and pulling out a ramp. I watch as he brings down my bike and Leo helps him till it reaches the ground. It's a black Suzuki sport motorcycle. Aka a fast bike.
Bryan closes up the bed of it and puts the ramp inside as Leo holds onto my bike and I hold the boxes. He looks over to me.
"Have a nice life Beth." He says as he gets in his car and drives off in front of us.
We watch as he drives out of view.
"Hey, Leo would you mind taking these boxes to my room while I put my bike away?"
"Sure."
He takes the boxes from me.
"Thanks."
I walk over to my bike and smile. Finally, I can ride this thing legally. I pull up its kickstand and walk it over to the side of the house. I quickly park it and put up its kickstand under the covered area beside the house and run inside.
Leo is dressed and is making breakfast while I run upstairs. I change into a pair of jeans and my pair of Romeos that give me a little extra hight with a black t-shirt.
I brush my hair out a bit more with my brush I had grabbed on the way up and slide on my old leather jacket. I didn't even know I still had this. It is real leather with studs going down the back, sleeves, and collar along with having sewn in flower designs. Inside of it is silk which makes it really warm but sadly it doesn't fit so much anymore.
I slide on Gray's jacket instead and grab my helmet with gloves inside and bag as I head downstairs with my old jacket in hand. I set my stuff down on the counter and help Leo make scrambled eggs before he burns down the house.
