I laid on my couch, scrolling through the television. All the good shows don't come on until, like, five in the afternoon. It's eight in the morning, and the only reason I'm up is because of my insomnia.

All that was on the T.V. right now were little kid shows that make me cringe.

I quickly got bored of just scrolling through shitty shows, and pulled myself off the couch and into the kitchen. I looked through the fridge (Billy the Fridge) and finally settled on some strawberries.

I brought them to the counter, washed them off, and began to eat. After I finished a few of them, I didn't feel like eating anymore, so I put them back up. And sighed.

"I'm so bored! I wish Emmaline wasn't at some stupid work party! But I also wish Calvin was here." I sighed again, and walked to my room to go film a video for Sunday, Enid's funeral.

When I opened the door, I saw something standing there, so I yelled, and smacked the person in front of me.

"Ow! What the hell? That's one way how to greet someone you haven't seen in two months." Calvin grabbed his cheek.

"Calvin!" I jumped on him, and wrapped my arms and legs around him. "I've missed you so much! How'd you get in?"

"Your spare key was under the mat, like you told me."

"Oh, but you said you'd only be gone for like a month, you mug!" I smacked his shoulder as soon as he let me down.

"I'm sorry, but I went to Germany, France and Spain."

"I can't believe you went to France and Spain." I crossed my arms.

"There wasn't a way for me to go to Seattle from France, I tried. The closest way was to go to Spain, to South Carolina, to Seattle."

"Whatever, you're here now, that's all that matters." I hugged him again, and even though I'm not that much of a 'hugger', I missed Calvin a lot.

I looked up at Calvin, and I left my chin being pulled up, and my forehead touched his.

"No." I whispered, and pushed my head away. "I can't, not when I'm like this."

"But--" I cut him off,

"I can't, Calvin, I can't, okay?" I don't know why I'm getting pissed, maybe it's my period.
