Haruka's POV
As we are running, the view of the cold snow slowly disappeared behind us. Our sight are being replaced by the view of a grand entrance door, like a palace's gate. It was beautifully lighted by candles, on the grassy ground. I could hear the crickets sing.
"Is the King of music within this door?" I asked.
"Yea..." was all Kiyoto said.
"We better head in!" I decided and approached to the door.
Before I did, Kiyoto/ Ittoki grabbed my arm to stop me from entering. He looked like he was hesitating to let me enter, as if we won't see each other again. Wonder why...
"Nanami, before you go in...I'd like to tell you something..." he said. "I know that I might lose you after this but I hope that you could choose me...because..." as his other free hand reached for his mask.
"...I love you. I know that I am the first one to realise this so please...accept my feelings for you..." he continued as he knelt down and kissed onto my right hand.
I was stunned by what he just told me. He loved me?! All of the members of Starish...just what in the world is happening to me?!
"Ittoki...-san..." I said softly.
"I can't go on if you were to belong to someone else!" he continued. "You made me believe once more!"
I was juat looking at him apologetically. I can't say no to him but...I had to refuse.
"Gomen...Ittoki-san, I...had to refuse..." I said softly.
"If that's so...tell me who do you like?" Ittoki asked as he stood up, still held onto my hand.
"..."
"..."
"I don't know..."
Come to think of it...I didn't know who I liked...why is this so complicated?
"See...I still have a chance. No matter how many times you were to refuse my confession, I shall capture your heart!" Ittoki said with a courageous smile.
I smiled at him. He was never the one who easily gets disappointed.
"If...if I failed, I shall let you go...to whoever you loved...so that, my love for you is real!" Ittoki continued and embraced me. "I wonder what will I become by then...?"
"Daijoubu, Ittoki-san...you are a good guy who always have the ability to make everyone around you happy. I like people like you!" I said as I accepted the embrace. "We will always be good friends no matter what obstacles tries to stop us."
"Arigato...Nanami!" Ittoki cried happily and carried me in bridal style all of a sudden. "Let's proceed into the hall!"
"Maji?!(For real?!)" I exclaimed.
Ittoki didn't reply me and he charged into the entrance door, which opened by itself?! I wonder what lies beyond this door...other than the king of music itself!
