Me and Ian ended up playing Fortnite all day until Ian's mother , Shannon, called us down for dinner. Ian quickly jumped up and ran out the room. I stared at the doorway amazed at how fast he could run. I knew he played football but jesus. He must be starving or his mom's cooking is good. I guess I’ll go find the answer. I got up and took my time walking from the room to the stairs to the dining room. When I reached the kitchen Ian was already sitting at the table.

“Hey Mrs. Shannon!” I smiled as I sat at the table next to Ian.

“Hello sweetie! How has your day been?” Shannon smiled warmly.

“It’s been great! I love it here.” I glanced at my phone since it vibrated and saw a text from Ian. Why would he text me when he’s right next to me?

Ian: Suck Up

Kas(me):No I’m Not.

Ian:Yes you are

Kas:Fight me Bitch

Ian:Try me bitch

Kas:Punch first

Ian:Swing First

Kas:Wait till we get to the room.

“Boys put up your phones it’s time to eat.” Shannon smiled placing a plate of spaghetti in front of me and then Ian.

“Where’s Da?” Ian asked looking down at the plate of food.

“He’s on another business trip hunny. He works hard and I know you miss him but he supports the family.” Shannon said kissing the top of Ian's head and went into the living room.

“Does she eat in the living room?” I asked confused

“No she eats before everyone else.” Ian said as he began slurping up the spaghetti.

“Why?” I asked still confused

“Because she knows there won’t be any left if she doesn’t.” Ian coughed almost choking on the spaghetti.

“So, you’re fat.” I smiled

“You’re fatter than me!” Ian said looking up from his spaghetti and placing down his fork.

“Prove it!” I smirked

“I will!” Ian frowned for a couple seconds before continuing “I just don’t know how.” I started to laugh

“Just hurry up and eat I need to  beat you up!” I laughed and continued to eat my spaghetti

“Oh yeahhhhh. You suck up.” Ian smiled and began eating his spaghetti
