Don't Fail Me [Boy X Boy]

The lights had turned off in most of the room and the hallway we were in. Probably not the emergency place though. I’m not sure this is my first time in a hospital at night.

“Have you ever been in  hospital at night?” Ian smiled looking over at me

“What?” I asked confused

“I saw you looking around. I was just wondering If you have ever been in a hospital at night?” Ian wondered

“Oh uh No. I’ve never spent the night at least awake in a hospital.” I smiled looking at Ian.

“I have it’s just creepy and I don’t wanna be alone… not after what happened.” Ian mumbled looking away

“Maybe you should try to get some sleep.” I suggested

“Y-Yeah…” Ian stammered. Ian moved the front of the bed with a switch from upright to almost completely flat. I watched as he slowly moved to a lying position.

“I hate these beds…” Ian sighed

“I can’t relate!” I smiled

“It’s better than a chair!” Ian laughed

“I guess.” I smiled watching Ian laugh. As he slowly stopped laughing it became awkwardly quiet. Ian shifted to his side and laid on his side looking in my direction. Me and Ian made awkward eye contact before he breathed out heavily before he closed his eyes. I smiled softly as I watched Ian attempt to fall asleep. In only a couple minutes Ian’s breathing slowed and stayed in a steady pace. I new he was asleep by how his body rose up and down under the white blankets. I smiled to myself and pulled the chair silently closer to the bed. I folded my arms on the side of the bed and rested my head on them about a foot from Ian’s face. I slowly drifted to sleep inhaling his smell. As quickly as I fell asleep I was awake again. It was still dark and I couldn't see anything. I almost fell out of the chair as I felt a warm breath against my mouth. My eyes finally adjusted to the light and I could see a very faint outline of Ian's face. He had curled into a ball and was now only and inch away from me. My heart started pounding quickly as I watched Ian sleep. I rested my hand on Ian's face and shuddered out a low breath.  I gently closed my eyes and leaned forward.
