Ian P.O.V
"Hey ma?" I said looking to get
"Yes sweetie?" She smiled to me
"Where's da he hasn't been home in a few weeks." I said taking another mouthful of meatloaf. My mother's eyes widened as she balled up her fists on the counter her head hanging.
"What?" I asked confused. My mom choked on her words as her mouth opened but nothing came out and a tear fell onto the counter.
"Mom!" I almost yelled knocking over my chair getting up and running to my mom pulling her into a hug. She hugged me back and cried into my shoulder.
"What happened?" I said softly
"Me and you father have decided to take a break." She sniffles backing away
"Wait why!" Kas said standing slamming his hands on the table angrily
"Kas calm down!" I said getting irritated about how he is so easily angered and now is definitely not the time.
"It's okay." My mom smiled softly towards me
"Your father has had a few affairs on his business trips so we are taking a break." My mom said looking from me to Kas
"That fucking asshole!" Kas growled
"Kas!" I said sternly looking at him
"I'm heading to bed." My mom said walking towards her room.
"O-Okay mom. Night love you." I said looking at her concerned
"Love you too and you too Kas." She waved
"You too Mrs. Shannon." Kas looked at the floor and I could tell he was concerned. My mom shut her door and I walked over to Kas.
"It's okay..." I whispered. Kas looked in my eyes before wrapping his arms around me in a hug. I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck as the tears started to stream down my cheeks. My breath staggered as I began to fully cry my nails digging into Kas's back. His arms tightened around me.
"It's okay..." Kas whispered
"I feel like you're making fun of me." I breathily laughed
"One hundred percent." Kas smiled. I dropped my arms from around his neck and tried to back away but Kas didn't let me.
"W-What?" I asked confused and nervously laughing. Kas smiled and leaned in kissing me. I quickly wrapped my arms back around his neck as he lifted me up. My legs wrapped around his waist as he walked to the couch. He laid me down hovering over my body. Kas breathed heavily looking at me. I bit my lip and slowly started sitting up.
"What?" He said backing up and sat on at the end of the couch
"Nothing." I smiled sitting on the other end of the couch smiling at him
"You look like a dork smiling like that." Kas tried not to laugh
"I just like looking at your face." I sighed
"W-What!" Kas stuttered his face tinted red as he looked away embarrassed. I laughed and crawled over to Kas. He stretched out his legs and one hung off the couch as I rested my head on his chest with a sigh.
"Have you ever like thought about it?" I said looking up at him
"About sex. I mean what would happen?" I said nervously
"I uh I mean sorta I have kinda thought about it but I mean" Kas stuttered nervously as I felt his heat rate increase. I smiled and turned all the way on my back. Kas rested his arms over my shoulders and his hands on top of mine which lay on my upper stomach.
