Chapter 52

I stretch as I wake up, while looking at the alarm clock. It's 9:56 am. I hop off the bed to go downstairs, feeling quite recharged.

"Good morning," I say as I walk into the kitchen. Danny is at the oven cooking, while Alisha & Catherine sit at the table.

"Look who' finally made an appearance," Catherine grins.

"I love sleep," I smile as I sit down by Alisha. "Did I miss anything last night?"

"Not really. Same old party precedure," Alisha shrugs.

"Oh & Jack was looking for you," Danny chipped in from the oven.

"Oh.."

"Speaking of Jack.." Catherine says as they all look at me.

"What's for breakfast?" I ask as I walk over to the oven.

"Not telling you til you tell us," Danny grins. I glare at Catherine.

"You've trained him well." She smiles. I decide to just go to the living room & watch tv. I keep the volume down, because I can hear what their saying in the kitchen. Fine call me nosy, you'd probably be doing the same thing though!

"I wonder what happened between them," says Alisha.

"Should I text Jack about it?" Danny asks.

"Emma will tell us when she's ready," Catherine says. I smile. Go Cathy! I focus on the tv for a little while til breakfast is ready.

"Mmm, good job Danny," I say after a piece of bacon. He smiles as he sticks a piece in his mouth.

"Mall day?" Alisha suggests.

"Yeah!" Cathy & I both shout.

"I'll just go hang out with the guys," Danny chuckles. So we separate from Danny to go to the mall after getting ready after breakfast.

"It'll be a good day, ladies," Catherine says, hands on hips, as we walk in the mall. We snicker at her dramatoc pose.

"Alright ms super woman, let's hit up the stores," Alisha tells her. I've only got 20 bucks to spend, so I have to be dead sure on whatever I want. We go through 3 stores by 11:30 & I still have all my money. Miracle! We walk past Dick's sporting good store where I can't help but see Jack. Huh, ironic, Jack in a store called Dick's. I shake my head & contine walking by Alisha & Catherine.

"I'm hungry!" I cry at around 12.

"Me too, let's stop at the food court," Catherine says. We go to the food court, where I spend the 1st dollar today. Proud moment for me.

"I have to go to the bathroom," Catherine says after a few minutes of eating.

"How is this the 1st thing you bought today?" Alisha asks me.

"Proud right?"

"Totally!" We make small chat for another minute til she goes to get a drink refill. I just sit here lost in my thoughts when you know who sits next to me.

"I was wondering when you'd show your face," I lift my face to look at Jack.

"Miss me already?" He smirks.

"Surprizingly no." He frowns, making me smile.

"I can see it in your eyes babe, you'll never loose your feelings for me. Just save us the time & let me fuck you, because we both know I will get you at some point."

"Yeah no. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice what the hell was I thinking in going out with a pig like you," I stand up & pour my soda on him. "Get out of my face before I kick what little balls you have left-AGAIN." He cusses & flees the scene. People cheer while some give me disapproving glares.

"Oh my God!" Catherine & Alisha both say as they sit at our table.

"Explain what did happen between y'all?!" Catherine demands. I sigh & shrug. Maybe i'll tell them some day.
