The next day at school Jack wraps his arm around me as we walk into the lunch room.

"Hey you wanna sit with me & my buds today?" He asks.

"Yeah let me just go tell my friends that I won't be there," I reply.

They seem cool with it, & add in some teasing about Jack & I. I roll my eyes & feel my cheeks turn a light shade of pink, then go to Jack's table.

Jack, being the cool guy that he is, natually has cool friends. He has the sport jocks as friends, & add in a couple of cheerleadeers who are probably the jocks' girlfriends. I notice that 1 of the girls is the girl who Jack had his hands in the butt pocket of a long while back.

"Hey! Emma, right?" She asks, smiling. Oh, she's nice. Movies totally have cheerleaders wrong.

"Yeah," I say.

"I'm Kelsie. Jack tooootally talks about you all the time. The guy's crazy about you." I smile at Jack & he just grins.

"Yeah well..." he says. The rest of lunch goes by quickly, & I end up making a few new friends. Or simply companians, at the least. Kelsie, Nikki, Zane, & James.

"They seem cool," I say as Jack walks me back to class.

"Yeah, they are." We arrive to my class, & he kisses me on the cheek & leaves. Ah that'll never get old.

I look for Jack in the parking lot after school but can't find him. Damn, I was hoping for a ride. I start to walk when I see Luke & Catherine get in his truck. Nah it'll be too awkward because of what he told me yesterday about Jack. I continue on my way.

I hear a honk behind me, & I don't even need to look to know that it's Luke.

They pull up beside me & Catherine rolls down her window.

"Hop in!" I do what she says, but this time, she moves to the center. Maybe Luke told her what he said yesterday & she knows it's awkward right now.

"Thanks," I say.

"No problem," they both say at once, making me giggle. The rest of the ride home is silent.

I say thanks again then get out of the truck & go inside. I lie on the couch & quickly fall asleep.

I wake up to hear a beating on my window. I look at the clock, i've been out for 3 hours. Wow I must have been tired. I get up & go to my window to see Jack smiling.

"It's about time you woke up, I could see you snoring it up on the couch through the doorway from here."

"I wasn't snoring," I giggle.

"Mhm. Sure." He climbs in my window. "Nobody home?"

"Nope." He pulls me to him & we begin making out. After a couple of minutes I pull away.

"I'm sorry, where are my manners?" I say walking out of the room grining. "Want something to eat?"

"Ouch, left me hangin' for food. That's cold. I'll show you what I want," he says chasing me. I squeal & run but he catches me in the living room.

"Ok, you got me. Now what are you gonna do with me?" I ask, tilting my head up so I could see him behind me, holding me captive.

"Do you even need to ask?" He kisses my shoulder & goes up my neck, giving me shivers. I see the clock & it's only 6:15, Mom won't be here til after 7. I feel his hands rub up my arms.

"For real though, want anything to eat?" I ask.

"Eating her up right now." That causes me to giggle. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket & I pull it out. A new text from Catherine.

'Hiya' I put my phone back in my pocket. I'll answer later.

Jack twirls me around so I face him. His lips crash to mine. My fingers lay on Jack's cheeks.

"You're a beautiful woman," he says after. I blush & thank him, while looking to the floor.

We go back to my room & we make out. He tries for something more, but I stop him, saying i'm not ready.

"My mom's going to be here soon, anyway," I say.

"Trying to get rid of me?"

"No."

"Good." He pulls my face towards his & we kiss. I hear the apartment door ope

n, so I make Jack go in the closet.

"How was work?" I ask Mom, as I come out of my room. She then explains to me about her day. We talk for a few more minutes, then I come back to my room, closing the door behind me. I help Jack out of the closet.

He kisses me goodbye then leaves, window style. I check my phone & reply to Catherine, & a few other texts that I got during all that.

What a good way to start off the week.
