Anderson drove Mika and I back to the mansion. I hadn't actually seen the building from the outside, but I'll put it simply - it looked foreboding. The windows were all pitch-black, you couldn't see inside. There were four towers attached to the main mansion, two smaller ones and two larger. The largest of the towers were in the back, and the tallest of them all was attached to the right corner of the building. four was in the back, it rose past the rooftop. It was covered in vines. The mansion was made of dark wood and black stone, and it stood on the top of a large hill. It almost looked like the hill was natural, but I knew it wasn't. None of the grass around us was, we were hundreds of feet above the   ocean, although you'd swear you were standing on solid ground.

We walked right through the front door, which I thought was kind of funny. The door lead straight into the summoning room. Immediately I noticed Soro and the Spirit Book. The old wizard stood in the center of the pentagram, arms folded.

Anderson strolled in, "Heya Soro. Brought the kids like you asked."

"Yes, yes. But we do not have time for the pleasantries!" Soro hobbled over to us, "We've been waiting for you, Mika."

Mika summoned her staff and spell book, which both floated beside her as she walked. "Of all the days for an incident to occur..."

"Where's JJ and Chynna?" I asked, "And Zach."

"Busy." Soro wheezed, placing a hand on my shoulder. "As of right now, they are not your concern. You must ready yourself for tonight." He glanced at the Spirit Book, "What do you think?"

The Spirit Book's leather straps snapped, and the monster book spoke. "Soro, he will not survive tonight unless put through something mentally disturbing. My first suggestion would be to show him a fragment, and then tell him of the Red Tree.  Odds are, he'll be fine after that! I like him, so be gentle alright? We don't need another insane idiot wandering the hallways." The book glanced at me, and opened and closed itself twice, "I hope you are prepared, Akaya."

I glanced at my gunblade, which was still sitting beside the left staircase, "I think I am, Spirit Book."

"No no no, no weapons." The Book sighed, "Bringing a weapon into an area with supernatural activity will only make whatever is there angrier."

Mika glanced at me, "I haven't taught fifth here everything yet. He's barely mastered his magic."

Soro glanced at me, "Come, my boy. I have something to show you!"

Mika frowned, "Should I come too?"

"Better you don't, my dear." Soro sighed, scratching his beard. "We both know that what I must show him is not pleasant."

                She nodded, "Yes, Master."

The Spirit Book followed Soro as the old man made his way up the stairs. "I will wait for you behind this door, Akaya." He took a right, and  walked around the indoor balcony. He entered the second door, which I realized lead into one of the smaller towers. "Mika, prepare in the best you can."

Soro disappeared into the tower, and Mika glanced at me. "I hope you're ready."

                "Ready for what?" I frowned.
