"Akaya." Mika tossed me a flashlight. "Let's head downstairs now."

We had just finished grabbing our equipment. Everything was in place, we were just waiting for the others. But as we walked downstairs, I heard a beeping noise.

                "What's that?" I blinked.

Dreamcatcher darted out of my pocket and whizzed around me.

"I think it's your phone." Mika replied, "You should probably pick it up."

I took out my phone and stared down at the screen. "How do I answer the call?"

"The little green button up there." She replied.

I answered the call and put it to my ear, "Hello? Hello...?

JJ's voice erupted in my ear, I jumped and nearly tossed the phone into the air. Mika burst out laughing. I glared at her, "It's not funny!"

JJ was speaking. "Dude, you've gotta see the mess Vida dragged us into. We're not gonna make it back in time to investigate the alley with you and Mika, Soro said to go ahead and do it yourselves." His voice crackled, possibly due to the connection. "He also said that he expects the two of you to get back safely."

                "Alright JJ." I blinked, "Thanks."

"Uh-huh. Alright, talk to you later." The phone hung up.

I glanced at Mika. "Soro says we have to go to the alley by ourselves. I don't even know where it is."

"Let's just ask the Spirit Book." Mika smiled, "He'll help us."

                "Sounds good." I grinned.

She patted my head, "You don't have to come if you don't want too. I think you could use a bit of a break. Why don't you-"

"What's up with this?" I complained, "Soro told me to go with you. I wouldn't miss this for the world."

She cocked her head sideways, and then smiled again. "That's my familiar. Come on, let's find The Spirit Book."

                I nodded in agreement.

We found The Spirit Book cowering in the corner. When we approached, it asked. "Are the zombies gone?"

                Mika nodded. "Yes."

"Thank the pentagram." He muttered. "I was in dark town for a while there. Stupid zombies."

I grinned. "We need to find the alley we're supposed to investigate tonight."

"I heard about the tender moment the two of you shared a few minutes ago. It's okay, I won't tell anyone."

Mika's face reddened, "Don't make me have Soro tighten your bindings again."

"Alright, alright! Yeesh." The book looked at us. "The Alley is on B Street, in between The Gameroom and the building beside it."
