Soro had set up a large screen on the wall underneath the indoor balcony. JJ had gone upstairs to talk to Chynna, who had apparently been in the middle of an important call when Zach had arrived. Mika and Vida were standing in front of the screen, talking excitedly about something. The Spirit Book was on the table, eyes on Soro as he turned the screen on. Zach sat on the stairs, talking to Zen. Yes, the girl who had helped me stay sane. Xinx, Chynna’s other partner, stood at the top of the stairs with Kennedy. I stood beside the table with Dave. The Dramyling that had been attached to my forehead was floating a little to the right of me. For some reason, it didn’t seem to want to leave.

Kennedy ran downstairs, and walked over to me. “So, how’s it been Akaya? I heard that you had an encounter with a demon. Fun, aren’t they?” She was wearing a sleeveless shirt and black pants. On her belt were a pair of handguns….colored bright pink.

                “Pink…guns.” I said.

                “Problem?” She raised an eyebrow.

“Nope. Not at all.” I replied, looking at the screen. “I’m surprised, literally everyone is here except Anderson.”

“You called?” Came a voice from behind me.

I turned around to see Anderson standing at the bottom of the stairs, grinning slightly. “Kid, there’s no way I’m missing out on this. Everyone’s here for two reasons. Lightblade, and the fact that this is very important.”

“I’m just confused.” I said honestly. “Even Chynna’s group is here, and I’ve rarely seen them around the mansion. Kennedy, I didn’t even know you ever came here.”

“I do from time to time.” Kennedy shrugged, running a hand through her brown hair. “I only come here when it’s necessary. Outside of that, I live near my café.”

“So, we’re meeting Lightblade?” I blinked, “I feel like I should be excited.”

“He’s rather famous.” Kennedy admitted, “I’m sure they’re excited.” She motioned towards Mika and Vida. “If Lightblade is taking notice of you, then something important is happening. It means that whatever is going to happen on Valent 5th will go down in history.”

“But why is he so famous? Is he a star like Mika? Is he-“

Mika walked over to me. “He’s famous because he fights for what he believes in. Akaya, Lightblade is a warrior. He wears many faces and is a master of blending in with various cultures. He defeated the Black Dream – an entity Pentagram was unable to defeat – and found the Dragon Queen. On top of that, he’s the only human from Earth who has been shown the rest of the universe.”

                “Earth?”

Zach stretched, “It’s another human planet, in the milky way galaxy. Far from here.”

Vida nodded, “It was cut off. Lightblade is the only one from his planet who knows about the rest of the universe.”

                “That sounds…incredibly lonely.” I frowned.

This earned silence in the room.

“I’ve never really thought about it that way.” Mika said with a sigh.
