Chapter 11

Heyyy people!! What has it been 300000 days since I updated? soooo sorry!

I walk down the steps of our back porch as Luke and Calum emerge with the woods. I sit on the steps as they got closer I notice the frown on each of their faces.

"What happened?" I ask cupping Luke's face. He wouldn't look at me, I knew something was up. He wasn't hurt but I knew one thing..

This wasn't good.

"What happened? " I repeated looking over at Calum. He looks over at me and sighs.

"The werewolves.. they're furious Payton." He starts and I nod. "They want Shania dead.." he says and my eyes go wide.

"No No No No." I say walking towards the house. "They want her dead they're going to have to kill me too." I state walking through the kitchen, Ashton and Kyah were supposed to be back any minute and I wasn't going to let Ashton stop me from going and settling this.

"Payton! Stop." Luke snaps and I stop dead in my tracks.

"What?" I ask him turning around slowly, he looked angry but he also looked very worried.

"You are not doing anything stupid. Don't you understand me? I don't want to lose you." He states and I clench my jaw.

"I don't want to lose Shania." I spat running up the stairs. I knock on Shania's door. She opens it seconds later and I rush in slamming the door behind me locking it. I wrap my arms around her, she was the closes to me out of all the girls. She knew everything about one. My past is the one thing we shared.

"Hey hey your okay." she whispers, by then I was crying, the thought of losing Shania was something I couldn't handle.

"No I'm not. Shania.. they want you dead. I.. I can't lose you." I tell her and she frowns.

"I'm not going anywhere Payton." She tells me and I close my eyes.

"You don't know that Shania!" I cry fall in to the floor. I hated being some emotional.  Shania was the only person I would ever break down to. I would never do this around the boys.

"Shh." She says hugging me.

"I hate this." I mumble. And she smiles at me.

"You hate being powerless. You hate crying.. but sometimes you need to." she tells me and I wipe under my eyes.

"Yeah I know." I sigh getting off the floor. I take a deep breath and turn to look at Shania.

"I'm going to settle this, " I tell her opening the door. She raises an eyebrow,

"Take Michael or Calum with you," she tells me and I nod, even though I knew I wouldn't be bring either of them.

"Luke! Where's my crossbow?." I yell from my room.

"Your not having it." He states walking into the room. I turn to him and inhale deeply,

"Luke I love you but don't you make me hurt you." I warn and he frowns.

"You wouldn't dare." he smirks and I frown.

"You underestimate me? " I ask picking up my wood stalk gun. His eyes go wide.

"No never." he says shaking his head. 'But obviously you have lose some common sense."

"I have not." I state putting the gun up again. I was not going to shoot him I just didn't want him to know that.

"Its in the top of the closet." he says and I narrow my eyes. "I knew you couldn't reach it." He explains grabbing it. He hands it to me and I smirk. I walk over to him and get on my tip toes so I could whisper in his ear.

"I would never shoot you." I whisper and he looks at me shocked.

"I feel stupid." he mumbles and I laugh.

"Your an idiot." I state kissing his cheek. "But your my idiot." I tell him before exiting the room. I run down the stairs and run into Michael,

"I'm coming with you." he states and I sigh.

"Whatever. Come on," I tell him opening the door. I knew I had to get out of here as fast as I could. Ashton would kill me if he knew what we were doing.

"So what's your plan?" Michael says walking beside me.

"Plan?" I ask and he laughs.

"I knew you didn't have one." he says and I frown.

"I was going to wing it." I state and he chuckles.

"Then I guess we're winging this?" he asks and I nod.

"Try not to die." I tell him and his eyes widen.

" They wouldn't kill us right?" he asks and I shrug.

"They're wolves.. who knows." I reply and he sighs.

"The things I do for you." He mumbles and I giggle. He suddenly stops and I ride into his shoulder

"What the-" I start but I stop when I see a full out werewolf standing right in front of us. I back up a little behind Michael. The wolf growls and I back up some more tripping on a tree root sending me to the ground.

"Ow!!" I exclaim but quickly cover it up. The wolf takes a step forward and Michael grabs my arm pulling me to my feet.

"Your the hunter do something! " He whispers and I raise my crossbow. Before I can shut a voice comes from behind one of the trees making the werewolf turn back to its human form.

"Well your not Shania." It says. The voice sends chills down my back.

I knew that voice.... I have heard it before. I gasp when he steps out from behind the tree.

"Why hello Payton. Long time no see?" My uncle smirks making my eyes widen. But he's supposed to be.. dead?
