A week had pasted since the night Mason chased me through the woods. After a week of Ashton and Calum threatening to kill him, I'm glad everything has died down. Luke and I have become closer then ever. And I mean close. He hasn't left my side since that night. For the past 6 days he's slept right next to me! I felt safe. It was a great feeling.

"Payton!" Luke laughs as I play with his lip ring.

"I love your lip ring." I say poking his lip

"You do?"

"Yep it makes you even more attractive." I tell him look down at my hands.

"You calling me attractive?" He asks

"Nah. I was calling the lip ring attractive." I say sarcastically

"Ohh.."

"I was kidding Luke." I say poking his lip ring again.

"Hiya." Calum says sitting down on my lap.

"Your too heavy get off of me!!" I cry and he laughs sitting down in between me and Luke.

"What are you two up too?" He asks and I roll my eyes knowing he was listen the whole time.

"I was telling Luke how attractive he is."

"Luke and attractive in the same sentence wow."

"Leave Lukey alone."

"Fine." He says sighing dramatically

"So Did you guys hear about Michael and Ally?" Luke asks and I smile.

"I'm so happy for him!" 

"Now I'm the only single one." Luke states and I laugh.

"Luke needs a girlfriend!!" Calum yells and points at me. "She's single."

"Calum!"

"What Mrs. Hemmo? "

"Stop calling me that!"

"No Mrs. Hemmo!"

"Fine." I say before getting up and walking out of the house. I didn't know why it made me mad it just did. I sigh getting into my car. I had no idea where I was going but I have to be anywhere but here. My feelings for Luke confuse me. I've never understood. I don't know if I love Luke. I think I do, I just don't know for sure. I drive until I pull into the café. I get out of the car and slam the door.

"Hey girly." Ally says getting my attention. I look up at her and Michael and flash a smile.

"Hi guys." I say

"What's wrong?" Michael asks and I sigh.

"I'm confused."

"About?"

"Everything." I sigh and he gives me a half smile.

"I'm sorry." Ally says and I smile.

"Its okay." I assure them walking into the café. I didn't know if it was the truth or not. Nothing is ever okay.

"Payton?" Ash asks walking into the kitchen. Where I was sitting at the counter sipping apple cinder at 3 am.

"Hi." I say and he smiles at me

"Why are you awake at 3 am on a school night?"

"Same reason you are."

"Drinking apple cinder? Come on child." He complains taking the bottle from me.

"Dad give it back!"

"I'm not you Dad."

"You act as if you are."

"Speaking of dads. Have you talked to yours?"

"Nope." I say popping the 'p'

"Why's that?"

"The same reason you don't talk to yours."

"Umm.. Mine left me."

"Well mine slapped me." I say and he sighs.

"You should talk to him."

"Ash. I'm fine. This isn't about my dad." I tell him sighing.

"Then what is this about?"

"I don't know how I feel."

"About what?"

"Luke."

"Go on."

"I think I may be in love with him." I say closing my eyes.

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Wow."

"Thanks for the advice Ash!"

"I'm sorry I don't know what to say."

"What if I do love him?"

"Then you do?"

"Ash you don't understand what that means."

"What does it mean Payton?"

"That I'm still the naïve 15 year old girl."
